Taylor's pov.

The moment I saw Demitri's text, I was over the moon. I was happy he acknowledged me and was willing to spend time with me despite my tantrums.

If things continue at this rate, I was sure to have him dotting over me and having him grant my request.

I rushed into the bathroom, took my bath and afterwards made myself look pretty.

"Mom, are you going out?" Tessa asked and I nodded.

"Good day ma'am." Jace greeted me and I smiled at him.

"I might not come back when you expect me to so…"

"Your dad is dead. Going out is the only way I can forget him." I tried to explain to my daughter with puppy eyes.
