Tessa's Pov.

I had returned home after the superb sleepover I had with Raven and Jace. I kind of felt bad that I didn't get to spend time alone with Jace but I was just glad my sister's best friend was alright.

I sat on the couch, loneliness was all-over me as I sat in the dark living room alone. I didn't want to turn on the television after dad's death because it only reminded me of him more because of his favourite shows that we watched together as family.

Mom on the other hand was nowhere to be seen after dad's death. She left no messages and wasn't even taking her calls which made me feel worried.

I sighed, grabbing the pillow close to me as I tried to cover up my loneliness. Spending my time with grace was the only way I could get my mind off all that had been happening to my family.
