Chapter 30: It's All Her Fault

"If I had known this earlier, perhaps you wouldn't have encountered such a big trouble today," Bà Edith remarked.

After saying that, she suddenly increased the pressure on her fingers while pinching Bianca's cheek. When she released her finger, Bianca's cheek had turned noticeably red. Although she gritted her teeth due to the pain, Bianca still endured it and continued to smile.

"Well, now that Bà Edith has said that, I can be at ease," Bianca replied.

Once Bà Edith had vented her anger, she became utterly cheerful. She gracefully turned around, heading towards the iron gate, with her car following behind.

The gate closed, leaving only Bianca outside. The forced smile on her face disappeared instantly, replaced by weariness. What she had just said came from the depths of her heart. Compared to her family, giving up her pride to kneel before Bà Edith was truly insignificant.
