Zane's fault

ANNE'S POV

My eyes fluttered open and my head felt like it was being hammered.

I grabbed my head, rubbing the space between my brows to try and dispel my headache.

Looking around the room, I realized I was all alone.

My throat felt dry and parched, I tried connecting with my wolf but received no answer.

She must still be blocked off from what happened.

I stood up with some difficulty and headed down to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

"Anne you're up." Lydia gasped excitedly the moment she saw me.

"Yes, I woke up just now. I replied, my voice croaky.

"Why are you here? you shouldn't have gotten up." She said, looking me up and down in worry.

"Lydia, I'm fine. I woke up and no one was there and I needed to drink water so I came down to get it myself." I explained and poured myself a glass of water.

The cool liquid ran down my throat satisfyingly and I poured myself another glass.

A shocked gasp came from the door and Nicole rushed in.

"Anne you're up." She squealed excitedly and gr
