Atlas, having heard what they have discussed, feels happy; he was so amazed. Holding a glass of wine when Frank walked in.
"I should not believe that you are behind what is happening." Frank got Atlas's attention.
"I do not understand you; I do not know where you are bringing this from." Atlas could respond.
"Isabella has made her intention known; she is strong with Christian." Frank, he aggressively replied.
"Really, and how does it concern me? It has no business with me." Atlas answered. "All I know is that the throne belongs to me. And soon I will have it."
"She might seem brave, yet little does she know. I know it all and am very fit for the throne." Atlas responded so carefully.
"Just watch your step; be careful with what you are doing." Frank gave him a short warning and left.
"What do they take me for, a bastard?" Atlas asked himself. "One that does not know his right?" He added. "As long as the custom and the tradition exist. I, Atlas, will surely take the throne." Atlas pressed it to his chest.
Just at 5:00 pm, Atlas rushed down to Beatrice, the female among the kingmakers.
"He was at my house today; what exactly was the outcome of the meeting?" Atlas asked, Beatrice who was just stepping down from her car.
"The princess and her bodyguard, seen to have a strong bond, where the princess couldn't in any way speak about cutting ties with him, rather she stood her ground to spend the rest of her life with him." Beatrice could speak better.
Atlas smiled and walked three steps around the car park, then replied.
"This is a full assurance that I will be crowned the king tomorrow if she fails," Atlas said, beating his chest.
"I doubt it." Beatrice replied. Atlas paused, wondering why she had said so.
"Why do you say so? Do you think she can't step down?" Or have you forgotten the customs and traditions?" Atlas could stress his words. His heart is beating fast.
"She is not like her brother. Isabella has a brave spirit; she is more than a woman. I doubt if the council will not postpone the gathering tomorrow if she fails to conform to the tradition."
"Never, that won't happen. I have the tradition right in my fingertips." Atlas was scolded immediately. "I can read it right before them. A prince or princess that had failed to marry from a royal home, not just a royal home, but a wealthy noble home. Such princesses or princesses should forfeit the throne to the extended member of the family, where there is none to take over from the family in question." Atlas spoke and paused. "Prince Charles has forfeited it; now Isabella has to do the same." He shouted.
"That is the tradition, but remember that there is one who lives, the same who is a part of the lawmaker, which is your grandfather. He has always loved Isabella or Charles to rule. You do not have a royal attitude." Beatrice exposed him. "You are rough, rude, and arrogant. Your reign won't and will never profit the kingdom.
"Do not speak to me in such a manner," Atlas interrupted her. "You will be the first. I will definitely step down as part of the kingmaker. If I fail, Beatrice, you will fail." Atlas is pointing at her.
"You seek the throne, yet you lack the qualities of a leader. I doubt you have it!" She nodded her head.
Atlas drew closer to Beatrice and held her on her neck.
"Take your hands off my neck..." Beatrice struggles with her breath.
"I will strangle you if nothing is done. If I fail, your life and that of everyone will definitely be at risk." Atlas nodded his head on Beatrice's forehead; she fell down and struggled to her sitting room.
Atlas went his way.
"I swear, he will lose it. We, the kingmakers, will make sure Isabella takes the throne. We can't be ruled by an arrogant man. I will make sure that Isabella takes over the throne. Not Atlas." Beatrice, after coughing and trying to regain herself, decides on that.
The kingdom remained in fear; Frank couldn't rest or sleep. His heart kept boiling, so worried about the throne. There he walked down to Emily's room.
A silent knock at the door. It sounds slow. Emily opened her eye in fear; she would wonder who is at the door.
"It is me, Grandpa." Frank answered him.
Emily got the door opened.
"Grandpa, you are still awake?" Emily carefully asked.
"I am disturbed." Grandpa breathed down.
"Should I get you a glass of water?!" She asked him.
"No, Emily, I do not need it." He answered. "It seems you are not doing your work. You have proven to the entire kingdom that you can't convince the princess." Grandpa, speak with a frown look.
Emily would sit upright; she had her nightgown well covered and sat facing Grandpa.
"Grandpa, I have done everything possible. I did my best to see that Isabella could cut ties with Christian. Besides, I thought what they had was just business; unknown to me, they had gone beyond boundaries." Emily explains herself.
"That's because you weren't observant. You are not a good observant." Grandpa cautioned her.
"I think I worked based on the contract she had with him. How on earth will I believe Isabella to have an affair with her bodyguard? It never occurred in my memory." She answered.
"If by tomorrow she hasn't changed, I will make sure you leave the palace. You know what that means."
"Grandpa, please, I promised to work harder." Emily promised.
"Beside where is Isabella?" Grandpa asked.
"She should be in her room, sleeping." Emily answered.
"I think you speak to Isabella; why do I go speak to Christian? This has to settle tonight," Emily suggested.
Grandpa nodded his head; he stood from the bed and walked down to Isabella's room; she wasn't there.
"Where has Isabella gone to?" Grandpa got scared that he had to call for the whole maiden.
"Where is the princess?" Grandpa asked one of the maidens, Isabella, for a person maid.
"She should be in her room." She answered.
" Unfortunately she is not there." Grandpa spoke.
"It shouldn't be what I think." Grandpa sounded and started walking fast to Christian's room. On reaching there, he found Emily almost there; she had delayed while trying to cover her body, probably.
Grandpa and Emily stood before the Christian door. "I doubt she should be here," Emily doubted.
"Let's check." Grandpa insisted. "Was she kidnapped overnight? If she was, her personal guard should explain to us better." Grandpa stood on his word.
Unfortunately, Emily had noticed the sound coming from Christian's room; she knew Isabella had broken the boundary. Even when Emily would try to hide the taboo Isabella had committed by first having intimacy with Christian, now she was short of what to say.
"I heard a strange voice. I think Christian is busy with one of the maids. This would be very good evidence to prove more why Isabella mustn't have him for a husband." Grandpa, imagine.
"You got the point, Grandpa. I will suggest we go on in search of Isabella; without distracting Christian, he would be fired tomorrow." Emily tried to deceive him.
"No, she won't believe us." Grandpa, he answered, with his index finger on his lips.
"Come to think of it. The whole palace maiden is complete; where have Christians brought this from? She must be a whore." Grandpa thought. "I am going in there to have that as evidence; thanks, we have one." Grandpa stepped into the Christian room when Emily held him back.
"No, Grandpa, I am an eyewitness. I will definitely support you in this. But not going that far in distracting his excitement." Emily, speaking with a smile on her face.
"I insist." Grandpa said and walked into Christian's room. He was shocked by what he saw.
"My goodness. Isabella!" Grandoa exclaimed.
"What the hell is this?" You are here making love with your bodyguard. What a high abomination you are committing. Is this how you want to rule the kingdom?" Grandpa asked with aggressiveness.
Isabella and Christian stood, Isabella trying to cover her nakedness while Christian held onto his boxers.
"No, I see why you insisted we go back, Emily. You are fully aware of this, yet you kept it hidden." Grandpa felt disappointed.
"Christian, you will hear from the council." Grandpa spoke and left with pains.
Christian would hit his hands on the wall. Isabella accused Emily of this.
"You betrayed me, Emily. He wouldn't have known this is you if you hadn't told him. "I hate you, Emily." Isabella could scold at her.
"Princess, I wasn't aware. I swear, Grandpa insisted we search for you." Emily tried explaining, but when Isabella walked out in pain, she thought about what to do.
This was the height of it all, Grandpa wouldn't take. Not even for once. Grandpa kept walking around the room, with a Christian heart beating, shivering as well. Knowing what would become of him.
"You should have known your fate by now." Emily, mocking Christian. Emily felt butterflies in her belly; she was so happy about what would befall Christian. On the other hand, she is already fired.
The next day, just at the breaking of the day, Grandpa hands his cloth wore after bath. Ready for the meeting. Isabella, having known her fate, has no choice but to quit from Christian, as Christian will be sent into the battlefield where he will be killed. Going with this, Isabella is fully disqualified to be crowned the queen. She has defiled herself with a mere bodyguard. "Crown me the king." Atlas stood on his feet."Never." The two kingmakers echo. "Isabella still has a choice to make. She would either step down totally or lose the throne. Knowing fully that Christian has been sent back to his master, where he would face the punishment of defiling our princess." Lord Harrington spoke. "We can't have such an arrogant man like you as our king." He added "Really, am I not better than Isabella?" I am a billionaire; time is better than a whore whom you have gathered here to know is finally a decision." "Haven't she made it clear that she is not interested in the throne?" Or will y
Christian remains under medication, while Isabella keeps trying to cope with the persuasion that comes from her people. Becoming the queen. Isabella excused herself from the palace; she sought a quiet and cold environment. While she found one, she sat on a wooden chair, having her guard standing beside her."Life has hit me at its peak, not seeing the one my heart beats for." She spoke within herself. "This shouldn't in any way be my part. A part I have to struggle with is seeking the one I love. He is the only one I can count on, the one that keeps me smiling." She breathed down, placing her hands on the wooden chair; she would watch the birds flying."I love its sounds. It reminds me of the days I spent with Christian; I wished someone would whisper in my ear with the belief that Christian is alive!" Isabella, imagining, using the birds sweet sounds. Had a tap on her shoulder."You must be lost in thought." Xavier said, and he had to sit beside her."You seem to be stubborn; you se
Emily could imagine Isabella's sudden attitude. She smiled within her."What happened if Christian is alive?" Emily asked her.Isabella was pestered. She drew her hands closer to Emily's head."Listen, Emily, I have no time to waste. It is either you do as I have demanded or leave my presence; I have no time for this." Isabella told her."I am your adviser, your childhood friend. We had grown together, getting to know each other bette"r. You feel you can run into a bad direction and watched me allow you to draw in the sea". Emily paused and continued. "No, Isabella. I would rather render my life to save you than watch you dead." "Is anyone planning mischief against me aside from Atlas? Because I know he should be the one with such a devilish heart." Isabella told her."Unfortunately, your Majesty, it is not about Atlas, but your joy." Emily answered."When do you care about my joy? If you did, you wouldn't have directed Grandpa towards the Christian room." Isabella shouted; Charles c
Isabella was finally made the queen of Aldovia, yet she felt incomplete. Isabella sat on her throne, with Emily sitting beside her. Isabella rested her head on the throne. "You felt worried, your majesty!" Emily watched her. "Am I complete?" She asked Emily."Well, as the queen who had gotten it all, I think you are complete; you have a mansion, live in a large palace, and are surrounded with guards and maids. Well known as the youngest rulers. Aside from the fact that you...." Emily paused; the last words seemed heavy in her mouth. Isabella adjusted, and with a suspicious eye, she looked at her."You have words to say; what is it exactly?" Isabella asked."You need a warrior," Emily answered with a trace of fear."Hahahahahaha!" Isabella laughed. "What are the guards doing?" "It is their duty to protect the kingdom and its ruler, even though I seem to have an upper power as well," Isabella told Emily. "I think your words would be, I need a husband!" Isabella said to her." Yes, yo
With Isabella disguising herself, she would walk freely into the camp."Eh! One of the soldiers stopped her.Isabella's unveiled her face."Your majesty." The soldier accorded her with some respect. Isabella, dropped the vein with him, and asked Emily to stay behind. She walked down to commandant Oscar office. Commandant Oscar, busy with some walked, was shocked when he heard a foot stepped in his office. And had smell a royal perfume before him.Unknown to him, it was Isabella standing, with her right hands on his table." Your majesty." Oscar called on her."You must have expected me. Right?" Isabella asked Oscar, walking majestically towards him."Not really, I do not have information about your coming." Oscar answered. "You expect me to believe you?" She asked him in a high tone. "Where are the bones? Where are the bodies you have trashed out?" "You seem to work as fast as you can." Isabella, pointing a gun at him."No, my princess, I didn't work faster than expected." Oscar ans
Isabella, with her entourage, returns back to her kingdom."It is a failed search !" Isabella, on her throne, had her hand on her forehead."Why not make a move with Xavier?" Grandpa threw in. "Please, Father, do not bring this up. I hate him." Isabella answered."You can't remain a spinster; you are the queen and must have someone as a husband." Grandpa told her he was so mean with his words."Let it be recorded that Queen Isabella ended without a partner. I believe that will be a good history to keep. Where our children, globally, will love to read more about me." Isabella removed her hands from her forehead as she spoke."No, Isabella, that can't be recorded, in fact." Grandpa got pissed off. "This throne is expected to be ruled by your offspring. The heir must come from you." Grandpa told her."And where I do not want to settle with such a person like Xavier. It should be told that I do not have interest in him. Not even for a day." "Xavier is never my dream and can never be." Is
Isabella had engaged in a fast, interesting discussion with Charles and Emily. "I wouldn't like any of you to make mention of such a name to me again. I will make the right choice of my man. Which is Christian and Christian alone." Isabella warned Emily and Charles. She was so angry reacting to the constant mention of Xavier.Emily had a private talk with Charles."You are the one closest to her, I think; it is time you exhibit your duty." Charles."I have done all I can, she felt not concerned about Xavier. I think she is right." Emily told Charles."What makes you think she is right to have rejected someone from a royal home just as she is?" Charles asked Emily, annoyingly."Xavier is a womanizer; his acts have been seen on a daily basis. Even his subjects testify to this. Aside...." Emily, slow down."Aside from what? Tell me." Charles asked her."He is a leader with a good record in carrying out his duties." Emily replied."This is where his duty called, and he always does that."
Bianca spent the whole time with Michael; she had felt everything they both shared was so amazing. Although Bianca extended her stay, only to have time spent with Michael.Be a new day, as the sky becomes brighter and the birds fly around. Christian had been watching from within. He had left his door open and saw Michael leave for the market with his birds. While Christian was carried away with thought, Bianca walked him and said."You look to be worried; is everything alright?" She asked him with a sexy eye."I do not have anything to do with a stranger, especially people like you." Christian answered rudely."You must be rude then." Bianca pointed at Christian. "Look into my eye and tell me if yours is disturbing you." She placed her hands at his back."None of your reactions or cold touches will get me distracted…" "Meanwhile, what are you doing here? I thought you had left after moaning all through the night." Christian felt jealousy."Now I see; I see why you seem to look sad an
Charles opposed Christian uplifting as well."If offending you is to please Christian, I won't mind doing that." Isabella replied, Charles."You must?" Charles lifted his hands to hit Isabella's face when a guard held them."Do you know the repercussions of what you planned on doing, hitting the queen?" Emily confronted him."Stay away from this, Emily. Moreover, are you not the same as Christian?" What do you think your differences are?" Emily asked further."For this, Charles, I will hurt you to the last." Isabella replied to him aggressively."I don't care, as long as Christian goes down, getting him down from the position you have placed him." Charles shouted."Charles!" Renee shouted as she called his name."What has come over you? Are you aware that she is the queen?" She asked him with a furious look. "You shouldn't take it to that extent." Renee lamented."She mustn't place him so high as that, forgetting the fact that the throne was once mine until I stepped down to have her
Grandpa, blessing calls for ritual, which was done genuinely. Now, Isabella and Christian's wedding took place. A full rainbow light was shining everywhere, as the cloud was much brighter. Isabella dressed in her royal apparel, and Emily accompanied her with her garment filled with many colors."It is really a surprise wedding." Lord Harrington whispered into Beatrice's ears."Yes, it is." She answered and had to sip from the glass of wine.Atlas couldn't withstand the shame, nor could Xavier. They both had to leave."You were so dull in your target." Atlas paused at Xavier, irrespective of his bodyguard."You are after the throne, while I am after Isabella being my wife." Xavier replied, provoked by Atlas's nonchalant questions."You failed." Atlas mocked him."No, I don't, but you do." Xavier replied."It is obvious that Commandant Oscar didn't carry out his duty as demanded. This is a clear definition betrayed."What happened?" Atlas overheard him."It is nothing, you bloody beast.
Isabella got everyone shocked as Charles began to ask Emily."What is the outcome of your outing?" He became furious."I'm sorry, my prince, I can't give an answer to that, nor am I going to betray Isabella's trust for me." Emily answered ."Spare all that, please. Have you forgotten that I remain the prince as well?" He sounded."I am fully aware of that, but with a limit. You should understand how much I value Isabella and will always keep to my words." Emily insisted."I insist on knowing the reasons for a sudden wedding preparation." Charles drew Emily's attention outside."The palace has been decorated with a sudden invitation across the world." Charles got worried. "Please tell me if she has chosen Xavier, yet decided to keep it secret." Charles's anxiety grows higher. It was a sleepless night for everyone in the palace, as the decorations were ongoing. Isabella right there ordered her wedding gown online."This is really crazy." Renee sounded like Isabella ordered to be delivered w
A few days later, Isabella decided to work with her heart."I have begun to have this thought within me." Isabella, relating to Emily"What could that be, your majesty?" Emily asked her. ""I will like us to cross to the neighboring village; I would love to get some birds." She answered Emily had been worried."The messenger should do that for you. Isn't it the reason why you employed them?""I will love to do it myself this time." Isabella insisted."What about your proposed trip?""That will be done later." Isabella demonstrated her action when she asked her driver to get the car ready."Your majesty, it is almost late; I suggest we do this tomorrow." Emily suggested."It is never too late to get my desire." "Are you coming with me or not?""I am still in shock, wondering why you chose to get yourself birds from a neighboring kingdom." Emily shows concern."I do not repeat myself." Isabella cut her short.Meanwhile, Christian and Michael had just walked into the market, transacting
Bianca walked to Christian with a grateful heart."I appreciate your good deed." Bianca distracted Christian, who was busy amending the birth's night."As you can see, I am so busy now; I won't want to be distracted at the same time." Christian replied to her."I am not here to distract you, nor am I here to make trouble. What I see is friendship." Bianca requested."What for, after you have proven how unfaithful you can be?" Christian almost provoked her."I beg your pardon, I was jokingly right with you in your bedroom; it wasn't from me." She answered him."Really, will this be your response if I had fallen to your offer?" "No, instead you will be craving more sex." Christian yielded at her."I am not like that," Bianca replied."What do you want from me this time?" Christian's rude act grows stronger."Can I know more about the queen of Aldovia?" Bianca asked her."What about her?" What do you want to know about her?" Christian asked."Okay. Since you seem to find it difficult to
Emily, panicking, wouldn't want to be attacked."It is not as quick as you think. The guard will be leaving with us at the same time." Isabella assured Emily that."Your majesty, I will suggest everyone be cautious, as well as the palace maids." Emily proposed this to the princess."Why do you say so?" Isabella asked her."Your worst nightmare asked me out today," Emily replied."Do you mean Xavier?" "You should be happy he found you worthy; maybe he is in love with you or might want to use you for fun as usual." "No, it was Atlas!" Emily answered."Atlas?" Isabella asked in surprise."Yes, Atlas asked me out. I declined it as well." Emily told her."That sounds nice. This is a proof of a friend." Isabella nodded her head. "He is so desperate to have the throne. Very much desperate, I promise him this. He will forever regret making an attempt, talk more of standing in my way." Isabella reacted aggressively. Grandpa, hearing Isabella speak. Shook his head, silently behind the door."
Emily left for shopping, and while she was shopping, Atlas walked in. It seems he had monitored her."What's up, beautiful lady?" Atlas smiled; he stood firm."What are you doing here?" This is not a male boutique; I guess you have come to shop for your girlfriend"! Emily, make fun of Atlas's behavior."Since you have refused to honor my invitation, I had to come here myself." It surprised you, I guess. Don't worry, it was a friendly outing I wanted at first!" Atlas touched Emily on her shoulder."As you can see, young man, I am shopping at that moment." Emily replied to him. "Moreover, you are the list I am expecting here. I do not know how you got to find me." She added."I will wait for you!" Atlas assured her."I'm sorry, I might not have your time." Replied Emily. Atlas insisted."Alright, I will meet you there at your car park." She answered him."Yes!" Atlas walked down after paying for whatever Emily picked ."Mr. Atlas has paid for what you picked ," the cashier told Emily.
Atlas had stared at Emily all through, he thought within him. Emily will be a good target against Isabella. This made Atlas indirectly plead with Emily for an outing, using her official Gmail."The selfish and desperate man seeks an outing with me." She said after she had read the mail. Emily sat with Renee, catching fun with her."You need to be careful with him; he might not mean good for you, not even for once!" Renee warned her."I am not a fool, nor am I blind to understand the handwriting on the wall. I am going nowhere." She answered, Renee."That makes it better, and speak right of you. I think Isabella made the right choice making you her adviser." Renee praised Emily's sincerity."What do you think about my husband, the queen's brother?" Did he make the wrong choice forfeiting his throne for me"? Renee is putting words into Emily's mouth.Emily, so how dangerous and complicating the question is. "Speaking of the throne, I think Charles made his choice; he does not want to l
Anthony, sipping his glass of wine and nodding his head as well."Won't you drink?" Anthony asked Sherman."I think you are the one that needs it most." Sherman answered, just looking and laughing as well."We are friends," Anthony asked him."Yes, we are!" He answered.Sherman, applying a trickish method, dropped his glass. He returned home; this time he was very happy."You looked so happy today; you must have won a contract." Lucas, his father, who just returned from a program, asked him."I do not know what the reason is; all I know is that I am happy!" Sherman stretched his hands."Hahahahah!" Lucas and his son laughed."Like seriously, how is everything? I believe you are fine." Norah walked closer, standing so amazing."You look so much more amazing today," Norah said, still wondering what had made Sherman happy. "I bought her a flower," Sherman, just to outsmart everyone, replied."Have you checked on your brother ?" Lucas asked him, even when he knows how deadly Sherman hate
