“Are you in this with me?” Noir asked, taking a deep breath.

Henry went silent.

“You surely aren’t planning on backing out at the last moment, I guess?” Noir asked again, to clarify herself.

“I paid you a lot of money.”

Henry placed away the light in his pockets throwing away the packet of cigarette into the dustbin.

“I have grown out of them, so, I’m not going to take them any longer.”

Henry started walking again.

“Don’t worry,” he stood in front of the elevator with his hands in his pockets.

“As long as I have taken your money and gave you my promise, I’m surely going to do my best to help you out.”

“But, don’t tell me to do something illegal. I don’t want to go to jail.”

“You can be assured,” she replied with a smile.
