It has been four months since we discovered that I was pregnant and three months since the cloaked lady visited me.

My bulging stomach proves that anytime from now we would be welcoming our pup to this world.

Everything has been too silent and peaceful. It's like there was never any danger looming over us to begin with.

But I am not too stupid to believe that all is well. To me, this seems like a calm before the storm.

" A penny for your thoughts milady?" Samantha's voice pulled me from my thoughts.

I turned to look at her, beaming at her. She has been the best company I could ever ask for during my pregnancy.

" It's nothing. I was just thinking." I replied.

Keeping anything from Samantha seems impossible for me.

She is the one who understands me the most and always calms me.

" You are worried they will strike now that you are almost due?" She asked and I nodded.

" I am also worried about Maya. Honestly, this peace we have now gives me the creeps. I feel like something big is cooking.
