Albanus could not believe that Avery had been using him all this while.

He has helped her free herself from the prison and how did she pay him, by locking him in a fucking dungeon.

It all went down the drain when Avery announced to him that she was going after Gideon's mate. He should have known better than to trust someone who almost killed the man she claimed to love.

The plan was simple, separate Gideon from his mate.

She would have Gideon and he would have Maya.

Separating Maya from Gideon would hurt the man the most and that's what he had been looking forward to for years.
