Raul’s point of viewWhen I reach the tree of power, the moon goddess has blessed us tonight as the tree basks in the light of her full moon, leaving me to harvest the sap surprisingly quickly. I grin as I fill the bottles to the brin, knowing that we have enough power to keep our wolves strong for a long time. When the last bottle is filled, I jump down from the tree, mindful of the wolfsbane scattered around it; I gather all of the bottles, placing them into the sac before turning back into my wolf.Dolph is much quicker than I am, and he's enjoying his run in his native lands tonight. I think she knew I was a little upset at first because he never told me but it seemed he got called away urgently and he called to see me first. It was the day that I was out with Sarah, knowing this made me feel a little better but I’m still missing him more than I thought I would, but I’m a big girl and I'm sure I can cope without his handsome face for a few days.That is why the following day I decided to do something fun with Leah. Erin’s point of viewI begin to panic as Leah loses consciousness; what if she was crushed in the crowd? What if she has internal bleeding? Shit, what should I do?I quickly check her over; she has no wound that I can see, and there is no blood anywhere. I need to get her to the hospital; just as I’m about to pick her up, she opens her eyes and lets out a little whimper, “It's okay, sweetie. I'm just going to get you into my car and get you to the hospital,” I say.“No hospital”, she whispers, “It’s Raul. Raul’s point of viewI try to open my eyes, not sure what hurts me the most, the pain in my shoulder or the ice-cold running through my body; I pry my eyes open. I am lying on the banks of the river, my head and shoulders out of the water but my legs still in the icy water; my shoulder throbs as I look down at my blood mixing with the river. Dragging myself out of the river, I look around. I need to stop this bleeding. I spot my dry bag hooked on one of the reefs…It's the only chance of survival I have.
