CHAPTER HUNDRED EIGHT

Liam's POV

I woke up, feeling so dead, as my head was killing me, and my whole system was burning furiously. I noticed that I slept very wrong, and wondered why I slept off my head ached badly beyond explanation. I couldn't remember what happened the previous night, but the pain was too much to ignore. It was hazy, slowly, returning from lividity to brightness, and looked forward. As I tried to gather my thoughts, I noticed a figure lying beside me. I was shocked to see Roseline sleeping in my room.

What the hell was she doing here? I thought to myself, trying to make sense of the situation. I couldn't remember inviting her over or even agreeing to see her. I growled at her and called her name, hoping to wake her up and get some answers.

Roseline jolted awake and stood up immediately, looking at me with a mix of confusion and fear. "Liam, what's wrong? Why are you yelling?" she asked, her voice shaking.
