Thorian's Perspective

As I stood there, my gaze couldn't help but be drawn towards Ashley, whose discomfort was palpable. It struck me as odd because, in all honesty, her emotional state shouldn't have concerned me at all. I had trained myself to be indifferent to the feelings of others, but an irritating sense of worry managed to worm its way into my thoughts, against my better judgment.

Rolf's suggestion, delivered with a voice heavy with fatigue, momentarily disrupted my internal musings. "Guys, I think we should all go watch a movie," he proposed, his weary eyes reflecting the same exhaustion we all felt.

Without hesitation, Ashley readily agreed with Rolf's proposal. Her swift response caught me off guard, and I couldn't help but shoot her a withering glare in response. Her transformation from an animated demeanor to one of confusion didn't go unnoticed by me.

Nash, our perpetual joker, decided to step in, positioning himself physically between Rolf and me, his arms outstretched
