Chapter 2

"Wait, I can't have her hypnotised forever." Gregory grabbed his arm tightly. What was he possibly going to do with a hypnotised girl. It just wouldn't be Willow, it would be as if she was a robot in his life. What would his mother say if she met a hypnotised Willow. All these thoughts crossed his mind,making his palms sweaty. Although he was a grown man, a business tychoon, he still feared his parents and their opinions.

He didn't know how he was going to take Willow home that night, but he decided to leave that for later on.

"It's going to cost you.Double of this!" Oz replied,"I knew you would want a long term solution."

He shrugged Gregory's arm off his.

Gregory had him seeked out from the shadows. He did not quite know how Gregory had known about his existence.Oz was quite content hiding amongst the people like a mere commoner. Since he was called out by Gregory,he might as well take advantage of the situation.

Living amongst the people for the last two hundred years he watched them evolve,but one thing was still the same,'money equalled power.'

Although he was a gifted wizzard,he could not manifest money and now he was low on precious money. He didn't want to go back into the ways of tricking people into giving him money. Although he knew that hypothetically, he was tricking Gregory for double of what he had initially asked.

He often thought about it but always decided against it. He would have only used his magic when needed.

As he stayed amongst the human beings,day by day his magic would start to fade and Oz knew that oneday when that happens,he would finally settle down,age and die like one of them .

This was the perfect opportunity to make a fortune to survive for the next few years if he spent wisely.

Gregory deserved to pay a hefty price since he had asked Oz for a selfish deed.

Although Oz had disagreed at first, the dollar signs always outweighed his moral behaviour.

"You tricky b******!", Gregory replied. He knew nothing would be cheap." I will give you 20gs."

"Forgot it. You paid for this service. I hope you are satisfied." Oz replied sharply. He knew that by rejecting the offer, Gregory woulf cave in. He could see the desperation in Gregory's eyes.

"Alright. You devil!" Gregory spat out at him followed by a few curses under his breathe.

He never thought that he would spend so much to attain a wife.

He could have just courted her but she never gave in to his compliments.

Other woman threw themselves at his feet . They offered him unimaginable things, things he could do to them,things they would do to him. He never fancied the easy types. There was something about Willow that made her stand out from the rest. It made him crave only her for the last six months,from the moment their fingers touched when she handed him is plate. He could not explain the feeling but it was like a volcano erupting inside of him. He knew from that moment that he would only want her.

"Ah uh ah! Check your phone for my banking details and send the 50g's. I am sure it is a worthy price for the job I am doing. Is the girl worth that amount?"

"Don't question her worth." Gregory pulled out his phone and instantly transferred the amount that was asked. She was worth more, he knew that.

Oz stuck his hand in his pocket and pulled out a ring.

"What must I do with an oversized, cheap lucky packet ring?" Gregory almost barked. He was disappointed at what he saw. He expected Oz to cast a love spell of some sort.

" You fool. It isn't just any ring. This is the ring of the ancient Roman queen, Archuletta. It is the ring of no sin. A ring that will make her forever yours, even against her will.", Oz said proudly.

"It looks cheap. But the question is, will she love me?", Gregory asked.

"Do you think you will love her the same if she is madly in love with you? If she chased behind you like all the other?" Oz asked.

He loved having the gift of reading minds. It always helped him predict the outcomes of the people he met. It didn't help him with finding the woman of his dreams though.

Gregory stared at him for a moment,he tried to think if he had ever told Oz that," are you sure that this is the solution?"

" Gregory, it is up to you!" Oz said,"I am not here to make you trust me, nor am I here to force you into doing as I say!"

Gregory held out his hand and Oz dropped the ring in.

A flash of light and Oz had vanished, the people who were frozen in time were now back in motion.

Gregory looked at the ugly ring in his hand. It came with no instructions nor did it tell you what it would do.

Willow sat staring into his eyes as if he was the only thing she could see.

Getting down on one knee ," Willow Winter, I have loved you from the day I layed eyes on you. Will you be my wife?"

Willow still stared at him in a trance.

People stopped eating their meals and and looked at them.

The waitress at the corner stared at Willow enviously.

"Oh,darling . You must be shocked.", Gregory slipped the ring on her finger.

In seconds it fitted to size and turned into the most beautiful ring on earth. The large diamond glimmered in the light.

Picking up her hand in front of all in the room he shouts ," she is mine!"

The diner erupted into loud applause and whistling.

Willow stood dumbstruck, she could not wrap her head around what had just happened.
