Emily's POV

My heart came to a stop, I became afraid. This was the man my son had spoken about. I felt his eyes all over me, my grip on Nathan tightened. " Mom, you're hurting me," Nathan said.

His voice brought me back from my state of shock. I had no idea it was hurting him. " Let's go home" I said, dragging my son Forward but Nathan was reluctant to leave. "Mom, I have to say thank you to Uncle, he bought me ice cream. I can't just leave." Nathan said, losing my hold on him.
