Maddox pov

"I want you to meet my mother,"

"Your mother?"she stutters with her eyes wide in disbelief.

"Yes ,"I clear my throat after some time . There's a reason I want her to see my mom . She is the best healer in our pack even though she is old . Rue and my mother have some thing in common and maybe it's time as an alpha to put her in the right place.

"It will be an honor alpha,"she replies straightening her face after some time,"but -"

"But what? "I ask with my eyebrows both raised

"Will she be comfortable seeing me ,"she mumbles with a worried look.

"Yes of course she is always happy to see anyone it's her nature ,"I answer leaving her behind without expecting her to follow me because I have an impatient wolf.

"Alright ,"she speaks behind me following my footsteps.

I open the door to my mother's hospital room and her warm scent engulfs me immediately. My mother is already up and seated waiting patiently for me .A huge grin spreads on her face immediately she sees me .
