I stayed the next hours over the window, watching the night fall and the full moon arrive.

I received clear instructions to stay in the room during the full moon, I received dinner in the room and a few hours after the full moon I could hear. Howls of the wolves.

A shiver went up my spine, as I remembered the wolf the commander was transforming that night I would never forget, the night I had blood on my hands.

I started walking around the room thinking of a way to find out what the commander was clearly hiding from me, after hours thinking about what his reasons for avoiding me would be like I opened the bedroom door and peeked down the hallway.

It was completely empty.

So I decided to leave the room, sneaking through the dark corners of the corridors, what better time than now to look for information?

Everyone was distracted by the full moon...

I walked up the path that I had once passed with Lina, the path where was the great door with a carved white wolf, and the name Chase engrave

Dimitri The ship made a long journey to Abdullah. And all the way I didn’t sleep right, Leon only talked to me as needed, and yet I could see the effort he made, couldn’t say I cared about the discomfort he felt around me, he smelled her on me, weaker now, because of the weather, But still it enveloped me like a soft perfume, and when I looked into his eyes I saw how much he hated me for it, because I was not a wolf but a snake, a bastard, but a bastard who possessed the soft scent of the woman he most likely loved. I almost felt sorry for him for always being alone, the night before our arrival at Abdullah I saw him on deck, leaning over the rail looking at the darkness of the waves, the moon shining, the night before he had locked himself in the cabin and taken a potion of Servin, a kind of wolf sedative, it kept his transformation under control. I approached slowly and looked at the sea, by my peripheral vision I saw him look at me in silence. — It is not enough to pollute our

I was surrounded by handmaidens who prepared me for my ceremony of presentation to the elders, they braided my hair and put gold jewelry on it, I wore a long black dress studded with diamonds, My eyes were painted black and I wore a necklace that had the symbol of a white wolf, the symbol of the Chase, the Alpha. When I looked at the necklace on my neck I ran my fingers through it, and remembered the last night I saw the commander in his room... with that woman. I could still feel his touch on my skin, the rubbing of his lips on mine, his smell... all these memories made me bleed. — My lady don’t cry in front of the handmaidens...— Lina whispered beside me as she pretended to put a clip back in my hair, I looked in the mirror and saw a tear coming down. I dismissed everyone in the room except Lina. Then I sat on the bed and took my hands to my face and cried. Lina sat next to me and hugged me, the tranquility and positive energy emanating from her like sunbeams after several rai

When I left the hall I thought I would never find Elder Lee again, since he had been gone for so long. However, as I walked down the hall without much hope of meeting him I saw him standing on a wall, leaning back looking at his hands, so absorbed that he didn't notice my presence until I called out to him. — Elder Lee... what are you doing here? He crossed his pale arms and sighed, then looked through me into the corridor, his gaze apprehensive, I had surprised him. — I am waiting for my servant, he is getting the horses ready for me to leave. — he replied uneasily. I moved closer to him, reducing the distance between us. — Were you going to leave without saying goodbye? Don't you think that's very rude? He smiled. A forced smile. — Fortunately you spare me this embarrassment by being here in front of me, I must say goodbye and my lady can convey my sincerest apologies for leaving so soon. — he said. The servant arrived and Lee's face flooded with relief, he quickly walked pa

Abdullah The inn was a large and noisy place, full of men drinking their beers and talking loudly, many women came and went in and out with their thin, short clothes, I spent a few seconds looking at one in particular, she was short in stature and with very light green eyes, she sat down at a table and looked at me. — Come this way, you can sit here at this table, I will tell my mother that we will have more guests, and I will bring wine. — Jade said and pointed to an empty table near the wall. I thanked her, but her gaze was insistently on Leon, who like a fool didn't seem to mind at all. When we sat down, I glared at Leon. — What's wrong, you bastard? — he asked angrily. I sighed. — Can't you see how the woman is hitting on you? He stared at me and blinked. — I don't need to see, I could smell it on her, she wanted sex. But I didn't realize that it was me she wanted. That didn't even surprise me, Leon was too serious, or rather too passionate. — You can be alone with her.

John kissed me intensely, exploring my mouth, his hands running all over my body, his kiss was possessive and urgent, and I gasped at the weight of his body on mine, my hands stroking his hair.He stood up a little and removed the jacket he was wearing, then his shirt, then I admired him, under the candlelight of that room, his defined chest, the hard lines of muscle in his belly, there wasn't an ounce of fat on him, he was all muscle, his shoulders broad and strong. He put his strong arms around me and I spread my legs wider so that he could get comfortable, and that's exactly what he did, he lay down and looked at me.His face still urged with desire, and my whole body burned for him, I knew he could hear my heart, but I felt no shame that he knew how it made my heart beat in my chest.I could no longer run away from these feelings, and neither could the commander, because somehow I felt that it was predestined that our hearts would meet.John looked at me, his black eyes shining li

***EVALUATE THE BOOK***We lay still in bed, hours or minutes I couldn't tell, time around me seemed to have simply frozen, the only thing I could see was him.The commander. He stared at me with intensity after speaking such sweet words, after confessing that his heart was mine.My heart was also his, in an unexpected and incomprehensible way I realized this, he had taken my heart, and I wasn't sure when exactly this had happened, since the first time I saw him in that arena he had aroused strong feelings in me, at first he aroused my hatred, because it was his hands that had taken away the man I was sure I loved at the time. And although I had strong feelings for Cristhofer, they couldn't be compared to what I felt for John, because what I felt for the alpha burned me from the inside out.I wondered if he could see in my eyes how I felt.— You're fired up Helena. — murmured John suddenly, snapping me out of my thoughts.— What?— Your heart. Did my statement frighten you?I smiled a

****AVALIEO O LIVRO ******I blinked in disbelief at what John was saying, I remembered the young boy who had surprised us that first night in the castle, I remembered the determination in his youthful gaze, and the way he seemed disobedient by nature.Even though he was tall and muscular, his boyish look gave away his youth, I pictured him alone in the search for his friend, and though I didn't know him that well my heart squeezed.I remembered the pained, desolate expression of Henry, his brother. And I realized something, he wanted to ask me something.I looked at John, still sitting on the floor, his face buried in his knees.— John?He lifted his head to look at me.— What did Henry want to ask me?John looked away from me to the wall behind me, his gaze seeming in a trance, so I pressed the question one more time.He stood up abruptly and ran his hands through his hair impatiently.— John, answer me. — I insisted. He turned to me and shouted nonsensically:— Shut up! ****AVALIE THE BOOK***** I sat up in the padded chair, my legs trembling and my brain trying to process the word banshee and curse the healer had uttered. Instinctively I brought my hands to my neck, I could still feel the commander's grip around it, and I remembered his pale, distant eyes... crazed. My heart raced and the tears welled up again, and I wiped them furiously and forced myself to stand, then faced Mr. Carter. — Tell me everything please. He nodded, walked towards me and gently sat me down in the armchair, quickly pulled out another chair and sat down facing me. — Do you know how John became the alpha? I shook my head negatively, and realized that I loved a man of whom I knew nothing about his past. — Clayton Chase was the alpha before John, and his father. Clayton already knew about Selene's curse, for this reason he put off marriage for many years, until the demand for an heir to continue the bloodline forced him to marry, his heir could not come from just any wom
