Alice

Silly! Why did you let him go? You should have confronted those despicable women and sought him out!" My she-wolf shouted in despair.

That made me stop halfway, and for the first time, I realized that not only did I not feel cold, but I had walked much faster than usual. Her awakening had affected my body in a matter of seconds.

"This is crazy."

I was surprised by what supernatural powers could do to a body, especially that of a weak hybrid.

"Stop thinking nonsense; you have to look for our mate, silly girl!" said the she-wolf with annoyance, and I smiled at her mere existence.

Among all the beasts I could share my body with, I never thought I would encounter a bold she-wolf without a sense of touch. It was very contradictory because I always believed that the more powerful a werewolf was, the harder it would be to control his beast, and this one seemed to be untameable, which was not necessarily a good sign.

We can't look for him now, even though I would like to; I no longer work at the house, and I don't have the power to confront anyone. Right now, they won't let me in. We must look for it at the right moment when we can get closer, I said to calm her down, and I heard her annoyed grunt, and then the silence in my head was absolute.

It was as if my she-wolf had gone to sleep after a tantrum.

The feeling was intense, and I was happy because my she-wolf had awakened; I would finally make my shift, and the pack would accept me in some way. The best part of it all was that I had found my mate, and that was phenomenal.

I had hope, and that's why I smiled.

I got home and decided to clean and organize things, but by noon my whole body hurt and I felt like I was going to explode. I tried to talk to my she-wolf, but it didn't respond, so I took a deep breath and tried to let the discomfort pass, but I couldn't. It was as if the symptoms that had bothered me in the previous days had intensified.

When night fell, the moon began to show itself; I knew I would have to leave the house and shift there. That's why, with a bit of pain, I put on layers of clothing and went out to the woods. As I managed to go unnoticed, however, I had to drag myself to the forest glade, and at that moment I felt a change in the atmosphere. As never before, the clouds cleared, the snowfall melted away, and the moon shone in all its splendor until a sharp pain consumed my body.

At that moment, I felt like I was going to die.

"At last your gift has awakened," said a woman who could not see. "Use it wisely. You are stronger than you think, so believe in yourself; what matters is who you really are."

And as if it were a kind of magnetism, I got down on all fours and stared at the moon for several minutes in a sort of trance. I felt a halo of light strike directly at me, and there, in that precise moment, I felt my body shatter piece by piece only to be rebuilt again. I lost control of my limbs; it was no longer me who was in charge. My she-wolf woke up full of energy, and by the time I realized it, she started howling excitedly and ran off with great joy.

Something clicked between us, as if the connection had finally fallen into place.

At that moment, I felt free and went to the deepest part of the forest.

I jumped around everywhere and went to the stream that was on the verge of freezing. When I looked at the reflection, I realized that I easily resembled a little Omega she-wolf, one of a beautiful grayish color that could blend in with the other wolves of the pack.

In that moment, I was so happy that I wasn't aware another wolf was nearby until it jumped on me, making me fall on my back and growl, showing its jaws above my neck as a display of dominance.

My heart started racing, but then the scent completely entranced me and my she-wolf was overjoyed. Without a doubt, she took control of our body and began to give affectionate licks to the colossal reddish wolf, and it was at this moment that the wolf responded with equal intensity.

I felt the pull of magnetic attraction and understood that I was experiencing a sublime moment with Stefan. Our beasts were recognizing each other. Suddenly, I got up and we started to play, then to run, and finally I felt a living bond click between us.

At one point in those games, I shifted to my human appearance, and he didn't hesitate to do it right away. Then I looked at Stefan completely naked, aware that the man was my destined partner, the one with whom I would achieve the utmost happiness.

I felt Stefan's eyes not missing any details of me.

"Who are you?" Stefan asked in a very soft voice, and I felt embarrassed by the effect he had on me. "You are new shifting, so you will need a lot of practice."

"I—"

My words wouldn't come out; I blushed completely and heard the internal laughter of my she-wolf. Then I became aware of my nakedness, to the point that I covered myself and Stefan shook his head.

"You don't need to be shy," said my mate, leaning down to look at me closely, then gently taking me by the chin. "You are mine; with me, you will show how you truly are."

I nodded, and Stefan Gray, my mate, kissed me.

At first, the kiss was gentle, as if Stefan were testing the waters with me; then everything became sweet as sparks traveled through our bodies in a sign of recognition, and shyness took over me.

"Are you a virgin?" Stefan asked, and I nodded nervously. "Well, because if another guy had touched you, I would have killed him right away."

His voice was rough, and a part of me felt enchanted by that possessiveness because it was synonymous with Stefan wanting me, so I had no doubt when he kissed me again.

This time Stefan kissed me with such intensity that I felt like I was on cloud nine.

I was so happy that I didn't realize when I ended up sprawled on the floor and Stefan slipped between my legs. We made love in a spectacular way. It was a divine experience that left me breathless and smiling. When we finished, I was just smiling, and Stefan had me sitting on top of him, kissing me without fear.

"You are mine and you are a dangerous addiction," Stefan murmured as he kissed my neck. "Tell me your name."

"Alice," I said, and there was no recognition whatsoever.

"Very well, Alice, from this moment on I will be your everything," Stefan said seriously, and I felt like I was going to faint from the intensity of his words. "You are the most delightful gift the Goddess has given me, and I will always have you for myself."

My she-wolf instinctively wanted to mark him, but Stefan evaded the action, so I offered my neck for him to mark me as customs dictated. However, he didn't do that; his reaction was to give me a chaste kiss on the forehead and he got up, as if to try to calm his erection. That didn't feel normal.

Do you know what’s happening? I asked the she-wolf with a bit of fear.

Dilon says that the human still doesn't want to mark us and that he wants to wait for the right moment. My she-wolf replied with annoyance.

Dilon? There are no more people here.

That's what they call your beast, silly girl, my she-wolf said with a mocking tone that almost brought a smile to my face.

And what is your name? I asked my she-wolf, full of curiosity.

Selene.

My she-wolf called out like the very Goddess herself.

"Where are your clothes, Alice?" Stefan asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"In the forest glade, my shift happened there and I left all my things."

"Then let's go look for your clothes; I'm going to shift, and if you feel exhausted, just hop on my back and hold on tight."

I nodded and smiled at his order.

Stefan was too cute and didn't hesitate to kiss me again.

Stefan stepped back and in a few seconds he was a large red beast that gave me a gentle lick on the hands. I tried to shift again, but I couldn't because of exhaustion. That's why I followed his instruction and climbed onto Dilon's back, who seemed to be the most adorable thing in the world.

It was the best day of my life.

I shouted with joy as we ran, which Dilon accompanied with a happy howl. It was magnificent, then I got off Dilon's back and put on my clothes. Stefan returned to his human body and looked at me with some intrigue, studying me as if I were a rare piece of a puzzle.

"I will see you every night here in the forest glade," said Stefan and kissed me. "We have an appointment here; don't miss it."

"But the death of Alpha Savio—”

"For now, I want to enjoy you in private, to have you all to myself," said Stefan before leaning in to smell my neck. "Then you will be mine before the whole world, and we are going to enjoy it a lot."

I nodded and thought that his behavior was due to wanting to respect the mourning for his father's death before introducing his mate. A bunch of butterflies fluttered in my stomach from nerves because I would become the Luna of the pack, I would have an important position and finally, they would respect me.

Foolish me for not seeing the signs.

Stefan went, and I was left sighing with a big smile.

Then I walked home, but I didn't foresee that a couple of young wolves that had not yet changed would be at the edge of the forest. One of them smelled me and burst out laughing.

"Surely she works the same as her mother and went to roll around with a client in the woods," said the wolf while his friend laughed, so I ignored them.

The problem was that they approached me, and the wolf took my hands in an abusive manner. In response, my she-wolf took control of my body and growled at them fiercely. That made them let me go.

"Wow, she has a she-wolf inside her," said the wolf in surprise.

My she-wolf growled again and they walked away. I was left surprised by the impact that had.

What the hell was that? I asked Selene.

That's called scaring off idiots, so have some backbone, girl, because from now on you're not going to let anyone walk all over you, Selene replied firmly.

Stefan Meeting my mate had been the best distraction; however, I had a goal and in that, Alice didn't fit as my Luna. That's why discovering that she was a hybrid served perfectly to publicly reject her.I hated hybrids because they represented the impurity of our race. We had been through a lot, so preserving purity was vital to avoid extinction. But it was hard to hate Alice, especially after having fully experienced her. Dilon, my wolf, was giving me the cold shoulder for distancing him from his mate.I had promised Dilon that the rejection wouldn't be for life and that after using Circe in my conquest plans, he could have his little she-wolf. At that moment, I was more interested in leaving a precedent about hybrids in my pack so that people would understand how radical I was with my rules.I had a goal and I needed everyone to serve me perfectly."From now on, all the men of the Elite will be in charge of security, as well as the training and logistics of the military personnel,"

When I opened the door, I realized it was one of the guardians who was calling. The guard looked worried."I apologize for the inconvenience, sir, but we have a small problem with one of the night patrols," said the guard, feeling embarrassed. "The group assigned to patrol the southern border is unavailable.""Is the whole group unwell?""Yes, sir, they are intoxicated with the elixir of passion," said the guardian with modesty.I nodded and held back my laughter. In another time, when I wouldn't have had the responsibility of taking care of and watching over the largest pack in the world, I would have enjoyed the joke. JacksonI looked at my mate with a bit of guilt.I didn't know who she was or where she came from, much less her story, but I did know that if I had followed the advice of the council to actively seek my soulmate in other territories, I would have found her sooner and whatever happened to her wouldn't have occurred. My mind was a boiling pot of questions about it."What are you thinking about so much?" Angel asked before sitting down next to me."Perhaps if I had looked for my mate in another pack, this wouldn't have happened.""Would have" has no place in people's destinies," Ángel said seriously, and then he gave me a pat on the back to comfort me. "What is meant to be will be. The Goddess shapes our destiny; do not question this profound fact; just think about what you must do to give the best version of yourself to your mate; they will need it when they awaken. AliceEating had felt like a little piece of glory.I had to admit that after weeks of torture eating only small rations of stale bread, anything could be paradise, but that breakfast I was having was just too delicious. It was a unique flavor, one that reminded me a bit of how my father used to cook for me before the war.A sadness overwhelmed me immediately upon remembering him.At that moment, Enya entered the room with some clean sheets and, seeing that I was eating, smiled warmly, as if watching me eat were the greatest pleasure."If you want more food, just ask for it; I made enough and I have some saved in the kitchen. Many times some of the apprentice wolves come to eat, and I always have something to serve them," Enya said nonchalantly as she set the sheets aside before opening the wardrobe to tidy them up, as well as to assess the clothes that were inside. "I don't know what outfit might look good on you, but this could work for you." She took out a very pretty green dress. "

AliceEnya kindly showed me the whole house. It was a large place with stunning views of the forest and had a garden that seemed to be the dream of any florist; it also featured a spacious area where many cars could be parked. I liked that it was an open place where any member of the pack could go to ask for whatever they wanted. It was very different from how things were handled in the Southern Pack.It was a bit difficult to have people around, but Enya made everything much easier. With her gift of words, Enya introduced me to the wolves she could, always keeping her distance, and the most pleasant part of the process was realizing that Alpha Jackson was right. No one looked at me with any expression of disdain; rather, everyone was curious to know how I had ended up there."Doesn't anyone know that Alpha saved me?" I asked carefully, and Enya shook her head."Only those who were patrolling that night know—those who brought you here and those who took care of you. But that won't come

Meanwhile, Eris was arguing with Alexander, Marco, and Daniel. The three of them were teasing her after she had damaged a suitcase of dolls that she intended to use to go to college.“You're all assholes!” shouted Eris, fed up and storming out of the room.“Will you say anything to my brothers?” I asked Alia, who was a female version of me and I denied it.“No, I think someone else will,” I said and she smiled, knowing the answer.“Go apologize to your sister!” shooed Alice in annoyance as she looked at the triplets. “This prank was very heavy and your sister always has to pay for the broken dishes of your witticisms. This time they tried not only her patience, but mine.”“Mom—”“No words will do for me not to scold them,” Alice said angrily. “Your sister is going off to college soon and

The funny thing about it all was that the Goddess spoke in our minds to show us in detail the sacrificial ritual we were to perform.I didn't know how the goddess was able to project everything to us as she spoke to the rest of the room, but I knew that no matter what happened, we were going to keep her promises. The problem was that we didn't know exactly where the grotto was and Angel was the one who told the truth about it.“My informant is apprehended,” he said and we were all stunned when he communicated this as we were getting ready for the trip. “The informant on what was going on with the Omegas sacrifice is Ariel.”“Impossible,” Teo said. “He's Stefan's most loyal man.”“He wasn't, not until Stefan decided to make less of people and he understood that it was horrifying the kind of sacrifice they made,” Angel said.“I've seen with my own eyes how bad blood that gu

JacksonI knew what would happen at the meeting long before Alice arrived and I knew that would be the reaction I would get: absolute surprise. It was the same expression I had when the Alphas from the other packs, along with the leader of the warlocks and Marcel, told me hours before."That's not what I came here for," Alice said firmly, and I smiled. It was a classic response from her that, at that point, I could predict. And, to my dismay, Eris began to cry, highlighting a very important point of this whole mess, so I quickly went to her and when she felt me, she was quiet. Since I was singing nursery rhymes to her as my own energy, the little girl reacted very well to me. Somehow, I managed to calm the call and I was recognized as her father. The wonderful thing about that was that, apart from Alice, I was the only person with whom she really stayed calm. She feels at peace with you; you give her security, Alfie said happily.Knowing that filled me with happiness. After the war, A

They were one small tunnel that led into the forest; however, I noticed that they were sealed off and that didn't give me a good feeling.“Something bad is going on; the plan was for Bella to come out this way with the baby girl if something went wrong with the birth,” I said and the matriarch checked the wall.“It's sealed from the other side, so we'll have to break it with force.”With the renewed energy my daughter had given me, I knocked and broke through the wall to go toward the path.
