I knew how people always died from third degree burns or just never recovered from them. He was fighting for his life right now. The pain must have been so excruciating that he had to be put on sedation.

I sighed. I really and truly blew it.

"Femi... why did you leave like that" Tunde asked me.

I sighed and looked at him "I am the cause of all this. I am just bringing destruction to their lives and it sucks." I said.

"No no don't say that man. You're not the cause. It's evil people who have refused to move on and get a life, they are the ones who caused all this and not you, do you understand?" He said and held my neck looking me dead in the eyes.

I started to tear up this was all so overwhelming for me.

"Do you understand? It's not you. You're not at fault. The people who are at fault have been apprehended bro do you understand me?" He said. I nodded slightly.

The guilt still laid on my heart. I wanted to run far away. I didn't want to be around to cause more damage
