Ama had started walking on her own already. She always said she didn't feel any pain when I tried to help her walk because I didn't want her to fall. It was funny but I just didn't want anything to happen to her.

I went into the doctors office to ask why I hadn't been discharged yet. I felt as good as can be and people had been discharged way earlier. I didn't know why mine was different.

I knocked and the doctor let me in.

"What can I do for you good sir?" The doctor said.

"I'm here to ask why I haven't been discharged yet. In all frankness, even Ama should be discharged by now," I said.

"Well, it's a fickle thing. Given what happened to Ama after the surgery, we decided to keep her and monitor her for a few weeks and I probably should have talked to you about it first but you were just kept because she's here." The doctor said.

I laughed "Okay but remember what I told you about communicating with me. Anyways when are we getting discharged?" I asked.
