A Selfish Friend

***Amanda's POV***

Judging from Drake's reaction, I could tell that he's not really into Keira like I had thought. Maybe I was the one who really got things wrong. From what I've heard, him say, it's obvious that he wasn't concerned about the relationship between Keira and Ethan.

That is such a relief if I must say. Here I thought that I had lost him to a lady who wasn't worth it. It would have been terribly baffling to know that Drake would find no one to fall for but Keira. That was like next to impossible.

Now that I know the truth, I'm certainly going to tell her about it.

I would have left the situation at that, but then, I just wanted her to know that I was right about her friend being sly.

“Okay, Alpha Drake. I'm sorry to have bothered you with a situation that doesn't even concern you. For this, I have no one else but myself to blame. I promise I won't let such silly things happen again. That's a promise.”

I left his office after that.
