Bringing up Norman made me feel terrible about myself and the way I chose things to go. I know he’s the first guy that I met and he, for the most part just told me about what I needed to know in this town and yet I chose to hang out with the cool kids.
“Oh great.” My mom squealed seemingly thrilled. “I also met the Clarke’s yesterday and they were a pretty lovely couple. Stephanie was just a sweet lady and Roman was just a caring husband.”
“Hey dad,” I called out thinking if I could ask my dad for a simple favor just for today. “Is it okay if you drop me to school for today?”
“Er, sure son, but we need to leave early because I have to drive far before I get to work.” He replied. “Oh and by the way, I just tracked your bicycle and it’s going to be delivered tomorrow.” Dad added basically letting me know that I’m not going to be walking.

UneditedEverything that happened to me so far wasn’t fun. I haven’t been in this town for more than a month and yet a lot has already happened. When I first got here in this town, I was just a human or in Idris’ words, a mere mortal and then the next thing I know, I’m a monster now. There’s literally too much to unpack and honestly, I’m still trying to let everything that I learned sink in. I never had the chance to have a peaceful weekend and process all of this werewolf bullshit.When I got home, taking a long and hot shower was the best thing that I did. Idris ran towards Yannick as well and as they met half-way, I saw a clashing exchange of punches and kicks. Each one of them was agile and strong enough to either dodge or block every attack. There are surprisingly a lot of students flooding from every direction, some of them are jumping out of their bicycle, most of them are coming in groups and by twos and they all looked as if they knew each other ever since. I find it relatively dreadful to be showing up way too early and it’s for a fact that everybody would notice the new face that’s me.
