A week has gone by and Louve was feeling better according to Zaire. She was still upset at Alpha Jedrick, and even dinner nights were awkward. Her parents were finally able to return to their home since there haven't been any more rogue attacks, but we were still alert.
BLAKE I transported back to the spirit world, only to find my Father standing in front of the cloud with his arms folded on his chest and a scowl on his face. The rogues were holding Athena as she mouthed a ‘sorry’ under her breath.
ZAIRE
MARGERY “Are you sure it was a good idea to have brought those kids here, Margery?” Mom asked, handing me a tray of breakfast for Blake.
ZAIRE Did they really work for Adryan all this time? There was no way they could have worked for Dad and him not suspect anything.
CONNOR Zaire was excessively upset, and I haven’t seen this side of her ever. Knowing Jedrick has lied to her and I couldn’t say I blamed her for sending him down to the dungeon. But there was something in her eyes, it was a rage burning inside her.
ZAIRE I missed school today, and I had to say, it was good that I did. Exhaustion had taken over my body and all I wanted was to rest. Connor came to check on me before he left for school, leaving me with the maid who had brought me some delicious breakfast.
MARGERY “Where could it be?” I muttered to myself as I walked out of school with my books against my chest.
BLAKEThis bastard is still alive. After trying to end them all, I couldn’t believe he was still here. Zaire saw him just as well as I did, but she got ahead and followed him while my job was to worry about Margery, who was being carried away by the warriors.“Hand her to me. I’m not letting any of you touc
