My dad, Lexi, Aiden and the guardians head down to where my dad put the wild wolves. “ Evan, why did you want to keep them outside?” Lexi asked. “ Since they are wild it didn’t feel right to put them in a cell with silver bars.” Dad said. “ That makes sense.” Lexi said. Dad led us around the side of the packhouse towards the woods where there was a row of five large metal cages with two wolves in each. Each wolf was in horrible shape. They had patches of missing fur. They were so skinny I could see the outline of their ribs and back bone. Old wounds that looked infected. Even in the wild they should have healed better than what they are.

Lexi gasped when she saw them. “ Oh, heavens. Evan, can we get them some food and medical care? Even when we get the spell off of them we can’t release them back into the wild like this. They will never survive.” “ Yes, Lexi. We will do what we can to get them better.” dad said. I know he hated seeing Lexi sad. So did I and if helping these
