Lyra's POV

As the sun dipped behind the horizon, I made sure that no one was around. With a swift motion, I activated the telepotter exactly as my mum had taught me. Stepping into the portal, I felt the familiar tingling sensation as it whisked me away to a distant land.

As I emerged on the island of the last surviving Tyrex wolves, I was greeted by the peaceful sight of the wolf people going about their day. Their friendly smiles and warm welcome made my heart swell with happiness. It had been a while since I last visited.

Noticing how the Tyrex wolves mainly consumed meat products, I marveled at their connection to their wolf heritage. It was a stark contrast to my own upbringing, but I respected their way of life.

Making my way to the hall which I was brought to last time by my mum, which resembled a fighting training center, I couldn't contain my excitement. Stepping inside, my eyes widened as I saw Ferdinand, Bruce, and my mum, Catherine, in deep conversation.
