The entire front of her was bloody. She had two straps holding her to the tree: one around her legs and one just under her armpits. By now, she was unconscious. I just pray to the goddess she’s still alive. Before the man could lash her again, Taylor cast a protection spell on the girl and my dad charged the man with a loud, rumbling roar. Elliot took the whip away from him while Evan, Taylor and I took care of the girl.
