I felt the heat of my palms as I clenched my fist, immediately feeling annoyed at the man in front of me. He suddenly appeared out of nowhere, I did not even hear his approaching footsteps. The man was still holding my neck so I could not move. A mischievous smile was plastered on his lips as he continued observing me.

I glared at him. “Why don’t we find out?”

I was about to use magic when someone violently pulled the guy away from me. I saw Shaun, claws out and eyes already turning yellow. He attended to me immediately.

“Are you alright?” he asked worriedly.

I nodded and looked at the man. I thought he was lying somewhere, but the guy flipped in mid-air and landed perfectly on the ground. “That’s quite a strength you got there,” he said. He didn't even seem to be affected by what Shaun did.
