Aunt Skina’s nagging was getting worse.

Any other girl her age would’ve run away, screaming from the incredibly hard work. It was also a monotonous life, and Silje wondered if she would die here in Aunt Skina’s store like this someday.

However, Silje was fine with it all. She didn’t want to think about anything.

“Before you eat, make sure you pray, Silje. The pastor is supposed to visit us in the afternoon. Oh, and don’t forget to make the soup with spinach and carrots, ok?”

Aunt Skina used to be a devout Norwegian Lutheran, but when she immigrated to America, she converted to Catholicism. Her dark house was decorated with crosses and the Virgin Mary statues.

The place was decorated elegantly with red lights, bamboo umbrellas, and landscape paintings. It was very late in the night, but the restaurant was still very crowded. To get better, she just had to work harder.“Have you never walked before? Why would you walk like that with your back so stiff and your arms swinging side to side? Are you pretending to be an orangutan?”Greg mimicked an orangutan while swinging his arms, which made everyone in the room laugh.“You’re right. Jung Yun was a great teacher.“Now, try it again! Look at the mirror as you walk. You can see yourself walk, right? Like I said before, if you walk like that, you can’t show off your clothes. You don’t have to mimic the way western models walk. Their walk is more natural, but you should walk a little faster and more professionally. Walk to impress!”After watching Silje try it a few times, Jung Yun became frustrated. She decided to show it to her in person.“Watch how I do it. See how my legs move. Relax your ankles and your arms. Just light swings. And walk a little faster!”Clack clack. The sound of high heels echoed throughout the room sharply.Jung Yun’s walk wasn’t textbook, but it was captivating. Silje couldn’t stop staring because it was amazing. It was no wonder she was considered a top model. If a model walked like that on the runway, the audience would be mesmerized.Sil

You made me the way I am now, so don’t even think about leaving me without my permission. I will never forgive you if you die on me like this. Would it be enough to make you feel like you no longer owe me anything?”“Probably.”Christian nodded and continued, “This will be the last time. I will take you to the hospital. You look like you are in shock so I don’t think you will be able to get there on your own anyway in your current state.”He was right. Silje was pretending to be calm, but her legs were shaking.
