Chapter 4

ELEVINA'S LITTLE ADVENTURE

Two months later, with no one to talk to, Elvenia decided to invite Elena to the castle more often. This time around they both bounded and shared a lot of laughter, secrets together. This was also an opportunity to meet Terence.

  

Elevina told Elena that she wants to go pick up some flowers to decorate the castle, Magnus asked “if it pleases you may I escort you?” he said. Elevina replied “I understand you want to keep me safe but I want to do it alone, don't worry I'll be fine” she said waving her hand as she flew off. Elena asked Magnus how it feels to be royal Magnus replied her saying “well nothing much really, the only thing is that it makes you stand out from the rest” he said. Magnus told Elena that he wanted to check on the garden that he would be back as soon as possible. 

Elena alone flew up to the royal ball where she saw a record player. Curious, she inserted a disk and started dancing gracefully to the song. 

She danced so elegantly, with her hair blowing vigorously as she twirled around as if her feet were touching the ground as she tried to twirl again she noticed a hand holding hers turning around she saw Terence looking as handsome as ever. Lost in her thought she kept glancing at him for some minutes before she said “i didn't expect you to come, I just really loved the song and I decided to dance” she said smiling Terence looking at her was so mesmerized with her facial expression and staring straight into those blue eyes made him wonder how such beauty existed.

Terence Said “ May I have this one last dance?” Elena quickly replied “yes of course it would be my pleasure” she said. Now the song played as Terence took Elena's hand and slowly danced with her. An hour passed as Terence spined Elena and drawing her closer to him looking at her lustfully he said “ How I wished this moment could last forever” as he came closer to kiss her Elena stopped him and said “ how I wish too but I don't intend to love you as I take you to be a friend” she immediately flew off leaving Terence alone.

Elevina still looking for flowers flew to Gardiana where she finally found the flower she was looking for , she went straight to pick it up but found out that the flower grew on top of a vicious try trying to escape the tree wrapped her trying to eat her luckily for her Magnus came to her rescue using an arrow shooting it at the center and it unwrapped Elevina and dropped her Magnus quickly flew catching her. Elevina said to him “so sorry that I didn't allow you to escort me and thank you for saving my life I really appreciate it” she said Magnus smiling said “ it's fine I understand you want to be strong like your mother but sometimes being weak doesn't mean you're not strong but means your growing and that's what I see” he said now let's hurry back to the castle Elena must be so worried about you.

THE FIRST WINTER SPIRIT

Still waiting for Elevina to return home Terence approached her saying “I am really sorry for my behaviour earlier I didn't mean to. I just found you quite attractive and fascinating” he said Elena said “ It's fine really I understand and am sorry if what I said made you feel bad” she said both finally coming to terms with each other gave a warm welcoming smile as Elevina and Magnus flew in.

     

Elevina said , “what's going on between you too?” Magnus said “ Maybe they were just missing us that they both felt sad” Elena dragged Elvenia with her as Magnus and Terence were Left alone. Where have you been? Elena said, looking at Elevina. Elevina said “I am really sorry I got overboard trying to get a flower that I almost got killed” she said laughing but am fine now thanks to Magnus. Elena said “well now that you're here let's go outside the balcony to watch the Star consolation” she said , both Elena and Elvenia sit on the balcony watching the stars suddenly one of the stars glowed and became luminous as a Spirit orb emerged saying “ I am the first winter spirit of Winterfell and I have come to tell you that you are the prophecy to destroy the dark forces as you begin your journey ahead, and you must be very prepared for what await” it said disappearing. 

THE SECOND WINTER SPIRIT

One week after the first winter spirit had appeared to Elena she couldn't sleep as her thoughts wandered wide concerning what she had been told. Exhausted, she retired to bed, still lost in her thoughts. The next morning she headed to Gardiana where she found some fairies practicing their magic and asked if she could practice with them but they all said no, making Elena feel bad. Even though Elena was a Fairy born of winter she got envious and hated by other fairies. 

   

Soon after, Elevina flew in along with Magnus and, seeming quite familiar, Terence came too. Shocked at seeing him, she turned around hoping they didn't see her. Elevina reaching the ground approached Elena and said “ Are you okay? Why did you turn away and why is your face all red?” she said , Elvenia said “ it is ? It's probably nothing and I may not be feeling too well she said” she said Elvenia smiled mischievously as she knew what was going on. Well now that we're all here let's all practice together.

  

Everyone demonstrated their powers as Terence was a light fairy as he was able to absorb light and use it to grow flowers, plants and create rainbows while Magnus was a water Fairy as he was able to control water and form different shapes. Both had half the part of Elevina as she was a water and light Fairy at the same time. Elena demonstrated her own and everyone was in shock as Terence and Magnus had never seen a winter fairy have such an enormous power before. Elena excused herself as she wanted to drink from the river. She noticed a ripple of water as it raised up revealing itself saying “ I am the second winter Spirit and I have come to give you three pixie dust that can help you fly to other Kingdom and tell you to be very alert of strange happenings around you especially your friends” it said and immediately disappeared.

THE THIRD WINTER SPIRIT

After some minutes passed Terence went to Magnus asking him what love feels like that he has been having a strange feeling whenever he comes close to Elena. Terence asked “Have you ever fallen in love before” he said Magnus replied “ yes I have but that's a long time ago but why do you ask” he said “Well I have been thinking of Elena for quite sometime now and I can't seem to get her off my mind, I don't know if am going crazy or it's just me” he said Magnus smiling at him knew what was going on and told him “Its fine I understand, it's normal to feel like that. My dear friend you're in love” he said smiling. 

  

Terrence looking lost got awkward about the situation Left to find Elvenia and Elena. He saw them resting beside the river as they laughed and played. Terence waving from a distance said “ I have been looking everywhere for you both what's going on” he said Elena looking away left immediately to take a walk around the river. After a few minutes Terence approached her and said “ I feel you're avoiding me but I just have to ask why?” Elena , looking at him, said “ I'm not trying to avoid you, I just feel I need space, that's all” she said, brushing off her hair. 

  

Terence told Elena “ I know what i'm about to say to you is inappropriate but I just have to say this, look Elena I think you're really beautiful and gorgeous and I can't seem to get you off mind lately I think of you, I dream of you, I want to hug you , I want to kiss you and most especially I want to be there for you. What I am trying to say is, ``I love you” Elena, shocked and speechless, got muted as her cheeks turned red looking awkward and shy. She said “ how could you say such with so much confidence? I…I…gosh I really don't know what to say but…I have to go, see you later” she said flying off.

As Elena was trying to reach her cottage she noticed a flash of lightning and an orb appeared saying “ I am the third winter Spirit, I come to give you a message. You see the stars above , when it is able to make a full snow flake consolation you should be expecting the winter fairy spirit, she would be the one to guide you through your journey and also protect you to ensure your safety as you hold the key for many happenings” it said and Left. Elena flew back to her cottage scared, still trying to understand what's actually happening.

THE WINTER FAIRY SPIRIT

Elena had been having trouble sleeping every night as she couldn't explain what was happening to her. She decided to meet Elvenia the next day. Getting inside the castle she knocked on the door and noticed two servant's that looked unfamiliar so she got curious about it, she flew to Elevina's room seeing her and hugged her warmly. She said “ Elevina what's going on I saw two servant's on my way coming in, what of Magnus and Terence” she said “I wanted to tell you this for awhile but you have been behaving strangely these past few days. Actually Magnus and Terence are going to another kingdom called Azov where fairies like us stay though it is a bit different but similar like ours. It's a tradition in Winterfell that servant's who have served the previous queen, now they have to move to another kingdom while new servant's are brought in” she said feeling sad as she hugged Elena. Elena said “what is wrong with me , why do I feel this way?”

Elevina hugged her and said “ I understand it's just you, I know you love Terence as much as he loves you so why fight it?” Elena , looking at her, replied “ It's just that I haven't fallen in love before and I don't really know what it means to love” she said. I guess you're right, I do love Terence but I don't know how to behave around him, already I have just been pretending not to be in love with him but deep down I am crazy about him and now it's too late.

   

Elevina looking at her said “like they say, second time's the charm but this time around try making the first move and am sure he would get it” she said smiling uncontrollably. Elena quickly asked her where Terence was and hurried flew to meet him on getting there she felt a surge of every pulsing through her as she took a deep breath, she noticed Cloudy mist and a beautiful magic fairy with deep crystal eyes, golden hair, pink lips, luminous wing's and a imbedded ruby stone at the center of her forehead which made her look so enchanted as she said “hi love, don't be afraid, my name is Ensley your winter fairy spirit , I have come to guide and protect you as your journey is a rough and bumpy road and you must which you must be strong and ready to face” she said. Elena, still trying to understand, asked, “ If you don't mind, could you tell me what obstacles or challenges I would face so I could get prepared?” the winter fairy said “ That I do not know but time will tell, as for now we just hope for the best as I will guide you forever till my journey is completed” she said leaving elena. 

Elena in a confused state went to see Terence , as she got to Gardiana where Elevina told her, she saw him standing still looking towards the shining river as she slowly approached him saying “ the river is quite beautiful at night, I really enjoying watching the tides in motion” she said, Terence turning around hearing that sweet, soft, familiar voice quickly hugged her 

Placing her Head on his chest saying “ you finally came, how I have missed you and am glad you're finally here with me. Elena I must say the truth, I fell deeply in love with you the moment my eyes saw you. I don't know why you're very special and I have never thought of having such feelings for anyone until I saw you. 

Elvenia felt sad looking straight into Terence 's eyes and said “ why? Why did you have to do this and didn't tell me, not thinking of how I would feel” she said , Terence looking Lost and confused asked her “ what are you talking about?” he said. Elena said, “ You didn't tell me that you were leaving for another kingdom, Elvenia told me about it and how you weren't going to come back again” she said. Terence, staring at her, said “ I'm really sorry I didn't tell you but I felt since you didn't want anything to do with me, it Best we just go but now I want to show you and tell you that I really really love you Elena and you mean so much to me. With your permission, may I kiss you?” he said looking straight into Elena's eye's. 

Elena speechless about what Terence Said, spacing around and looking intensely Into Terence 's eyes finally said “ yes you may, am all yours” blushing uncontrollably. Without hesitation Terence raised up elena's face looking at her intensely, slowing came forward placing a light kiss on her lips, gently placing a lip on top and another on the bottom of Elena's lips as he kisses her so passionately which elena also did swooning off as he held her waist and brought her closer to him.

Terence stopped at a point and said “ your lips are really soft that is driving me crazy, I can't get enough of you, Elena I want to make love to you but our kingdom forbids it but I can't stop myself even though I try” he said still looking into her eyes.

Terence said “I love you Elena with all my heart and this has been the best night of my life, I am really happy it had to be you , if time could go back I would take each precious seconds just to see you smile but I have to go now so I could prepare for tomorrow” he said as he kissed her on her lips passionately. Elena feeling really sad gave him a goodbye kiss and said “ I love you too Terence with all my heart and I wish we had lasted” she said hugging him.  Terence said “ Goodbye Elena , you would always be in my heart forever and don't forget that”he said flying to the sky as Elena watched him.
