THE PAST

SELENA AND AIDAS

I was already on the plane, and the pain in my head had not gone away. I had taken some pain medication before I boarded the aircraft in case I ended up dozing off throughout the trip from Italy to Texas. I was seated in the aisle seat next to the window, and I kept staring out the window as the city got smaller and smaller until I couldn't see anything at all. At that point, the only thing I could see was clouds, so I shut my eyes because they started to feel heavy, and I went into a really deep slumber.

I started having a dream that I was sprinting through a forest with people who I thought were my friends, but then I started to feel a lot of agony flow through my body, and I could hear my bones cracking as they ran. I closed my eyes, and when I opened them again, I found that I was standing on all four paws. The funny thing about my dream is that my wolf was white, when in reality it is black with dark gray.
