My pack. My family. My mate. My power. Isn't it funny how we think we are all born to just go through the motions? A child of the alpha is supposed to behave a certain way, train a certain way and be the leaders the pack will need. But what happens when family secrets come out and a grave threat is looming? . Alley was the only daughter of an alpha to the second largest pack in the world. Each year they hold their annual wolf ball where everyone comes in hopes to meet their mates. One single night Alley looked forward to, ruined by rogues but saved by her mate. Dreams that seem like nightmares become reality when Alley has to look into not only her family history but her wolfs history to learn why she and her wolf are different. Why someone is after her for a power she doesn't yet understand. Stephen, her mate who is the alpha to the largest pack is determined to protect her against anything that comes. With the two biggest packs protecting her what could go wrong? Alliances that have been unheard of are made, but Alley is ready to push aside their differences in hopes to save every supernatural race and not just her own but will their leaders do the same? When the ultimate battle happens who will show and who will hide?

Chapter One:

Alley POV: It was another day at the White Crest pack. The second biggest pack in our area. Our pack may only be the second largest, but we are the most respected. My dad has made allies with the packs closest to us to ensure everyone's safety from the rogues. It's always better to work together in larger numbers than it is to work alone and be outnumbered. Here lately the number of attacks has been higher than usual, and no one has been able to figure out why. They weren’t always so vile, most of them were born into it and don’t really know anything other than that, while the others turned rogue when they lost their mates or were banned from their packs. Once that happens, they turn crazed and demented. Some say it’s because they barely have a soul left. They finally figured out that they move better in packs, but no one knows who is in charge of them. Every pack has an Alpha, Beta and Delta. They attack for power and to make other people suffer the way they have; it's ne

I really wish this could be turned into a movie! Not the kind where they change it up from the book.. A good movie that follows every detail of the book.

I seriously enjoyed this book. Good plot, and a page-turner. Though could use a bit of editing with the paragraphs but doesnt take away the excitement and the fun in reading it. Enjoyed the camaraderies of all the characters. Definitely a heartwarming book to read. Thank you author!

Chapter Two:

Alley POV: I woke feeling much more refreshed than I thought I would, but nothing was going to kill my excitement for the day. Tonight is the night! Everyone in the pack has been so busy preparing for the wolf ball. I jumped from bed and straightened my hair and tossed on a skirt, button-up shirt and sandals. I didn’t want to overdo anything since I won’t be in this outfit for very long. When I was finished, I ran downstairs and was greeted by my family. “Alley, you look much better. You and your brothers are to greet the guests as you see them,” my father announced. I nodded my head; it was important that we are involved. It was always the same anytime we held an event. Greet the guests, make sure they get taken to their rooms to freshen up, make sure they don’t need anything. Me personally, I just liked to greet them and learn as many new names as I possibly could. I wouldn’t be an alpha or anything, but knowledge was always important to me. My brothers and I walked

Chapter Three:

Alley POV: When we arrived, I took notice of how neatly decorated the area was with canopies wrapped in lights and vines wrapping around the poles, several tables that had been covered with different color flowers and chairs each table sitting about fifteen people per pack. It had to be held outside because we don't have a room big enough to hold everyone. My mother had a huge flooring company come in and set wood flooring down outside so everyone could walk comfortably, mainly the women. Wearing high heels in the grass can be difficult at times. The floor reminded me of the inside of a tree with all the different markings, but it had a gloss coat over it to make it smooth. At the back of the floor there was a bar where people could go to get any extra drinks that they wanted. On the opposite side was where the food tables were. The tables where everyone would sit surrounded the outer edges of the floor leaving the middle open for those who wanted to dance. Overall, it was

Chapter Four:

Alley POV: Everything started moving in a flash. My brothers moved back to my side as my mate stood protectively in front of me pushing me further behind him. Realization hit me and I jumped into action barking orders at everyone close to me. "Get the women and children to the cellar and station the guards out front!" My brothers already knew I was in protection mode for my pack members and didn't stand in my way. "Get guards to the west border where they are attacking but spread out to each in case more show in different areas," my dad yelled out before jumping into his large gray wolf and sprinting off. My mother started herding all women and children to the cellar trying to calm everyone’s nerves especially the children. "Alley, come with me to the cellar!" my mother yelled out. "You go ahead, Mom. I will follow shortly," I replied shooing her mother to go with a group of women. Why would they choose now to attack? Anger bubbled inside of me. Surely if they

Chapter Five Pt. One

Alley POV: "Thank you for carrying me. You didn't have to. I could have pushed the pain aside," I said not minding that he carried me. I could really take in his features. He had jet black hair with sky blue eyes. He was naturally tan with high cheekbones and a chiseled jawline. He stood roughly 6'3" towering over me as I stood a mere 5'6”. He looked down at me and their eyes connected, and it was as if the world around them stopped. I could see so many emotions run through his eyes; the most evident one was worry. "What's your name?" I asked, trying to get his mind off whatever worry he had. "My name is Stephen, Stephen Quincy. What is your name, princess?" He half smiled and I giggled. "I am no princess, handsome. My name is Alley, Alley Willis," I replied. "You may not think you are a princess, but you are my princess," Stephen replied. Before I knew it, we were in front of my door with Leia impatiently waiting for me. "Alley, I swear by the moon goddess you are goi

Chapter Five Pt. Two:

Alley POV:When I finally laid down, I took in everything that happened. We didn't really get a  chance to enjoy the ball because of those damn dirty rogues. Even my dress was shredded the  second I gave Rose control. Why were they targeting me? I knew rogues killed for power, but I  was nothing more than an alpha’s daughter. What power could I possibly hold for them to target  me only?   As I tried to wrap my brain around it all. I hardly remember falling asleep. When I

Chapter Six:

Alley POV: The next morning, I woke up a little groggy and sore. Next time I have an encounter  with rogues I need to make sure I don't drink alcohol. Nonetheless I dragged my feet towards my  bathroom and sat under the hot water letting it soak into my skin. I remembered the small dream  I had. Who was that woman? What did she mean when she said it's almost time? She seemed a  little familiar. As I let the thoughts of the dream drift away thinking back on the way Stephen’s wolf looked in my opini

Chapter Seven:

Arriving back at home, I felt sad, nervous and excited just before they got to the door. I  halted my footsteps making Stephen look down at me.   "I promise this won't be the last time you see them, maybe your father and I can come  to a better alliance,'' he tried to assure me. Nodding at his words, we walked through the front  door to finally face my family. I sent a silent prayer to the moon goddess that everything goes  smoothly, and no one loses their temper.

Chapter Eight:

Stephen’s POV Once we reached the office, Alley's father offered a seat to me.  "I mean no disrespect by taking her home so soon, but as your son said, the attack of  rogues is not something I can ignore," I spoke.   "I know you bear no ill intentions, but as long as we can see her, I will be happy. Thank  you for making that possible."  "No need to thank me. As I said, she is happy around all of you, which brings m

Chapter Nine:

Alley POV: As we arrived, I took notice of how big his house was for it to be just him it seems a little much. As if reading my mind he spoke, "This is our house; my beta and delta stay here with me so we don't have to go far to find each other should something happen." "It is a beautiful house. So has it been like a bachelor pad for you boys, or have they met their mates?" Regretting phrasing it like that as my mind wondered if any other female was with Stephen in this house. Noticing the sour look on my face he replied, "Nothing like a bachelor pad, and no, they haven't met their mates. Just to be clear I have never brought a woman here." As little as it did to settle my mind, I seemed a little more relaxed taking in the appearance of the house. It was a two-story house with large white pillars on our front. The house itself was a white/beige color which I thought was antique looking making the house more beautiful. Not too many colors overlapping to become an eyesore
