“Please, pardon his excesses. He’s not in his right mind.” Christine said. How Gordon left was very disrespectful to Seth and the other elderly persons in the room and Christine felt ashamed for it.

“It’s alright. The boy’s in disarray. I wouldn’t blame him.” Seth said.

“But still, that’s no excuse for the unkind words he pronounced.” Christine said with her head bowed in shame.

“It’s alright, Christine. I’ll talk to him later.” Oliver said.

“I still think we should pay Penelope a visit. That seems like the rational thing to do. We shouldn’t depend solely on Dr. Bennett. We need answers and we need them fast. If we spread out, we would reach a rational conclusion in no time.” Seth said.

“Even at that. I still don’t feel it’s right to. This is just another of Penelope’s tricks. I disdain anything that has to do with her.” Oliver said.

“So what would you have me do? What if this child turns out to be your grandchild?” Seth said.

“Whoever the child really belongs to doesn’t concern me at
