Seth felt as though someone poured him a liter of cold water, his body suddenly felt chill and he couldn’t move his foot from where he stood, maybe it was a momentary shock, maybe he just didn’t want to move. Oliver was restless the whole time that Seth was away and the moment he saw Elijah coming out, his eyes caught Seth standing behind and he rushed immediately to meet him.

“What’s the matter, Seth? Were you able to find out anything?” Oliver said. He feared that Seth must have discovered something, something bad and that was why he was acting like that.

“Yes, a lot, Oli, a lot.” Seth said as he snapped back to reality, he went back to the hole to look for his shoe but it was pointless, it was long gone. Elijah’s prophecy didn’t include that he was going to find it and so, that was the end of his shoe.

“What are you looking for? Where’s your right shoe? Did you lose it?” Oliver said.

“Yes, I did and I’m never going to find it unless I have Elijah make some sort of pronouncements. H
