Expose

Gordon heaved a deep sigh, he was scared and embarrassed at the same time. Amanda would probably hate him after finding out what he did but he had to tell her anyhow.

“Come on, spill,” Amanda said as she sat on the bed close to Gordon. She held his face, raised it, and kissed him; “I won’t judge, I promise.” Amanda said.

“Oh, hell yea you wouldn’t judge. You’d be too terrified and forget this promise.” Gordon thought to himself.

“I killed Stephen..” Gordon said. He paused for a while and studied Amanda's expression before he continued.

“I didn’t mean to. I was so angry that I didn’t know when to let go. I just wanted to teach him a lesson, I mean, he almost raped you and I couldn’t have that.

“I know that nothing I say or do would bring him back but I truly regret my actions and I wish I could go back to that day, I’ll do things differently.”

Gordon said. He fought back the tears that made their way to his eyes.

Since the incident, his conscience had been haunting him tirelessly.
