If she would like the girl, she has no problem going against Sebastian Golding head-on.
The Mills has the money and power and she doesn’t think that Sebastian would resort to cutting ties with them. Each of the prominent families have maintained their territories and no one has dared to break such truce.
It would be detrimental to the whole country if that happens. Hence, it is the duty of the other families to intervene when such misunderstanding will occur.
