‘Keep calm…’ thought Edgar as he stared daggers at Zephyr. In all of his years of being alive, Zephyr was the first person who had ever behaved so disrespectfully towards him and would live to tell the tale.

“Huh! Why would I want to observe you making elixirs? On the contrary, I thought your talent could use a little nurturing,” said Edgar.

“Yeah, yeah. It’s fine if you don’t want to admit it,” said Zephyr. He did not mind Edgar’s fiery temper, but thought he could really benefit from Edgar’s status in The Boundless Academy and medicinal knowledge. “Do I get to keep the elixirs I make?”

“You’ll only need to give me a minor portion and get to keep the majority of it,” said Edgar.

That sounded reasonable to Zephyr. “Will I be allowed to use any of the ingredients in this room?”

“Yes, whatever ingredient you want.” Even though most of the ingredients here were very expensive and would cost an astronomical amount of points to redeem, to Edgar, the benefits far outweigh the cost.
