The Warrior’s Bride.

King Aladdin looked at his son. The Prince. Each day that passed his son was getting better and better. He watched how they trained. He could see the tension between both his sons, but he was glad Alexander was ignoring his spoiled son. They were a few months apart, but Alexander still showed signs of being the older one.

King Aladdin was glad when he saw they went on break. He called for Amir.

“Father, I didn’t see you there. You have been here everyday. “ Amir said, looking at his father. He had realised overtime that working on the field was not anything like he thought.

She knew he was only saying that because she ended up with Alexander, but deep down she knew he felt like she was the reason her mother died. Sometimes she thought he was always so harsh towards because of her mother. She knew she should not be giving any excuses for her father being right, but today he sounded unlike himself. He sounded like a sad man, someone who was in mourning. It hurt to hear him that way. She wondered if her father ever loved her. Fareeda pushed those thoughts away from her mind. She wanted her home- she and Alexander’s home- to be her happy place. She didn’t want to have any sad or bothersome thoughts there. She was not entirely exhausted after the day’s work, but she was feeling a bit tired.
