Micah POV

I woke this morning for the last day of final exams. I immediately walked across the hall to wake up my brothers, then next door to my sister’s room and find she is still gone? What the hell? This is not like her at all. There is no way in hell she would miss the last day of final exams. I went to the kitchen and found grandma in tears, “Grandma, where is Adele?” She just shook her head and pointed to grandpa. I went in the living room and asked, “Grandpa, what is going on?” He replied, “She never came back last night. She left in the early evening last night.” I ran to the garage and saw her motorcycle, so she couldn’t have gone far. I asked, “Was she in wolf form?” Grandpa replied, “Yeah. She outran the warriors who were assigned to protect her, and they went to her rock. When they got there, she was gone. They tracked her scent as far as they could, but it was like she just disappeared.” I asked, “Have you called our parents yet?” Grandpa responded, “Not yet. I want to give her some time to fight and come back to us. I want to wait for the day today.” I agreed, “I think that’s best. Do we have any idea who took her?” He shook his head, “No clue, but if I get my hands on them, I will rip their heads off.”

I added, “Get in line, grandpa. We are going to stay home today and see if we can locate her before we have to tell mom and dad.” Grandpa shook his head, “No way. You know she would be pissed off if you did that. Go take your finals and come back.” I sighed, “I only have one test today. I think it’s the same for the guys too.” We could be back by lunch time.” Grandpa smiled, “That will help.” I asked, “Are you going to call the Alliance?” Grandpa nodded, “If we need them. I don’t know if we do yet. I’m hoping she just fell asleep in a cave or something and will come back.” I looked at him like he’s lost his damn mind, “Grandpa, she has never done anything like that before. She loves her bed too much.” Grandma walked into the room chuckling, “That is very true. She really doesn’t like sleeping on any surface except her bed.”

Zach and Alex walked into the kitchen and sat at the table. My grandparents and I joined them and Alex asked, “Where’s Adele?” Grandpa responded, “She never came home from her run last night.” Alex stood up, “What are we doing here?” Grandma made him sit back down, “You boys are going to take your finals today and then you can join the search. Your grandpa and I have agreed not to call your parents until tonight. I have my wolf trying to reach her wolf constantly and we have warriors searching, but her scent trail just disappears at her usual rock and there are no other scents around there.” I sighed, “We need to get going guys. We can talk about where we can find her on the way there and back.” We agreed that we would join the search when we got back and left the house.

When we got in the car, Alex asked, “Do you think she’s really gone voluntarily?” I replied, “Absolutely not. She would have at least linked us to let us know where she’s going. There’s no way she left on her own.” I asked, “What do you think of trying to reschedule our final exams and then try to reschedule Adele’s? I know it’s killing her to know that she’s missing it. We need to let her professor know that she had an emergency come up and we had to hurry up and get home.” Zach replied, “I think you’re right. I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on this exam anyway.” Alex agreed, “I was planning on doing that anyway. It’s my psych exam. I can talk with the professor and try to reschedule Adele’s too.” Micah nodded, “Sounds good. Go ahead and do that.”

We each asked quiz questions during the drive to help each other study, just in case the professors didn’t agree to letting us reschedule. When I parked the car, we agreed that we would all meet here as soon as possible and walked to our classes. When I reached my class, Accounting, and approached my professor, I sighed, “Professor Ball, would it be possible to reschedule my final exam? I had an emergency at home, and I need to get back. My sister is missing.” Professor Ball asked, “Missing? How long have you known?” I replied, “Just as soon as I got up this morning. My grandparents talked my brothers and me into taking our exams, but we all agreed that we wouldn’t be able to do as well as we would have otherwise.” My professor looked at me with a sympathetic expression, “Of course. Let’s try a week from now. If you can do it sooner, give me a call.” He wrote on a piece of paper and handed it to me, “This is my personal number. Please keep me informed on what is going on. I truly hope you find her.” I took the paper with one hand, then shook his hand with the other, “Thank you, sir. That means a lot to me.” I walked out of the classroom and was headed to the front door when Alex caught up with me, “I was able to reschedule Adele’s exam along with mine. I told him that she went missing last night.” I sighed, “Good. I hope that will help her when she comes back.”

We walked out to the car and found Alex waiting there. I gave him a double take, “You got done fast.” Alex shrugged, “I told her that my sister is missing and I just wouldn’t be able to do as well as I would have and she rescheduled it for next week.” I smiled, “Awesome. It’s funny how we all told the truth without even thinking about it. We also used almost the same exact words.” Alex laughed, “That’s hilarious.” Zach smiled, “We’re part of quadruplets. What do you expect?” I unlocked the car and got in the driver’s seat. I started the car and started to back out when I suddenly heard my sister’s voice, “Micah!”

I slammed on the brakes and my brothers jerked forward. Alex yelled, “What the hell, man?!” I waved him off as I tried to link her back, “Adele! Sis! Are you there?” I didn’t get anything. Shit! I slammed my hand into the steering wheel, “Zach! I need you to drive. Now.” Zach switched places with me without question. Alex asked, “What is going on, Micah?” I answered, “I just got a link from Adele! It sounded broken up like a weak cell signal.” Alex growled, “She’s been given wolfsbane. She’s coming out of it. You’re right not to drive. She’s going to keep trying to reach you.” I asked, “How do you know she’s been given wolfsbane?” He replied, “I used to hang out with Uncle Nico’s lead warrior. He has seen and heard everything. He’s told me a lot of shit.” I nodded, “That sounds like a reasonable assumption.”

As Alex drove home, I concentrated on the sibling link, constantly trying to reach our sister. I swear, whoever took her is going to get his head ripped off… after I make him suffer for a week. I want to create wounds and then coat them with salt, then silver. I will cause so much pain; the person will wish for death before I rip his head off. I am lost in all the thoughts of how I will make this person suffer when Alex shook my shoulder, “Dude, we’re home.” I got out of my car and ran to the house. As soon as I got in, I saw grandpa and Uncle Nico sitting in the living room. I sat with them, “She tried to mind link me.” They immediately stopped talking and looked at me. I continued, “She yelled my name and that’s it. I tried to respond, but I guess she couldn’t hear me. Her voice was broken up… like a weak cell signal.” Uncle Nico growled, “Wolfsbane. There goes all the good reasons she could be gone.” Grandpa growled, “This person is going to suffer for a week before I finally allow death.” I laughed, “Grandpa, I thought almost those exact same words. It’s funny how we both thought of suffering for a week though.” Grandpa chuckled, “You always were a lot like me.” I asked, “So what are we doing now?” Uncle Nico replied, “You need to think of any guys that may have been obsessed with her. I know that everyone is overly affectionate with her, but I mean guys who do not want to leave her alone. Even guys from your childhood.” I thought about it until Zach gasped. All eyes went to him and I asked, “What?”

Zach growled, “Dune!”

  • The Warlock's Wrath   Epilogue

My quadruplets are five years old now and we have added five more children to the family since then. We had a set of triplets when the quad was two, and then a set of twins last year. To say I have been busy would be an understatement. My triplets, Eddie, Cade and Damien are quite the handful. I’ve tried to get Sebastian to intervene, but he just says, “They’re just boys.” My twins, Allie, short for Allison, and Emma turned one today. We had a huge playground installed at the castle and our kids just love it. We are giving all the kids in our children’s age groups the day off from training so we can celebrate the twins’ birthday. As we watched all the kids play, Joshua asked, “Mom, does the quad have to be here?” I laughed because all the kids in our quad are way more intelligent and mature than they should be. By the time they were three all four of them knew how to read and were highly skilled on the computer. I sighed, “But don’t you want to wish the twins a happy birthday?” He ga

Sebastian and I have been officially on the throne for three months and I am now miserably pregnant. My belly is absolutely huge and Sebastian loves watching me waddle everywhere I walk. I, on the other hand, seem to be nesting. I got all of the blankets for our little ones crocheted and I have been doing a lot of extra cleaning lately. I was cleaning the bathroom when Sebastian reminded me, “Babe, we have staff that do that. You don’t need to. If you want to do something for the babies, why don’t you crochet some more stuff. You could make little booties or hats for them. I smiled, “I think you’re right. Thank you.” I grabbed some yarn and a hook and sat down on the couch. I got up almost immediately and started walking away. Sebastian asked, “What’s wrong?” I sighed, “I have to pee… again.” He chuckled, “It’s almost over, babe.” I smiled, “I know.” I got to the bathroom and felt a gush of water. I knew I hadn’t peed, then looked down at the puddle under my feet. I walked back to the

When Sebastian and I got to the hall entrance the doors were closed and they were waiting for everyone to take their places. While we waited, I looked around us. There was a man behind Sebastian who was highlighted in red. With one hand, I conjured a dagger of ice. Just as he was raising is hand with a dagger of his own, I threw my dagger at him and it pierced his eye and went into his brain. He instantly fell backward, dead. Sebastian looked at me, surprised, “Was it a highlighted one?” I chuckled, “He was literally seconds from plunging a dagger into your back. I’m just glad I saw him.” He smiled, “I’m glad you did too.” Just then, the doors opened and we locked arms. I guess I was gripping his arm a little tighter than I meant to because he mumbled, “You are cutting off the circulation to my hand, love. Relax.” I chuckled as I loosened my grip on his arm, “Sorry, babe.” He chuckled, “No problem.” When we got to the stage, we walked up the steps and stood in front of King Quincy and

I woke up the next morning with my first thought being, “Holy shit! Today is Coronation Day!” I didn’t even take a second to stretch before jumping out of bed and practically running to the bathroom to take a shower. After taking my shower, I went to our closet and put on a sundress until it was time to get ready for the event. I went to the kitchen and poured myself a cup of coffee and sat in my favorite chaise lounge chair by the windows. I hadn’t been there long when my mom walked in. She poured a cup of coffee for herself and sat at the other end of my chair looking out the windows, “Are these the same kind of windows we have?” I nodded, “Yep. I like the idea of me seeing out, but no one can see in.” Mom agreed, “I always liked that too. Are you ready for your crowning ceremony?” I smiled, “I am. I was nervous at first, but Queen Lori told me that I’ve been doing the duties of a queen since I got here.” Mom laughed, “Being a queen is no different than being a luna. You are the moth

We spent more time than we originally planned in town and we had so much fun. After more baby shopping, Sebastian took me to a bakery that also sold ice cream. I ordered a jelly donut and a scoop of cherry ice cream, while Sebastian went with the classic apple turnover with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I reveled in the taste of my sweet treat and Sebastian laughed at me. I shrugged, “What? It’s good.” I filled a fork full of it and held it to his lips. He took a bite and smiled, “I guess you’re right. I never thought of that combination.” I smiled, “Now, I just need to learn how to make jelly filled donuts. I already know how to make the regular ones.” His eyes went wide, “You know how to make donuts?” I laughed, “I do. Would you like those for breakfast tomorrow?” He replied, “Probably not tomorrow. We should eat in the dining room tomorrow morning with it being coronation day and all the guests we have coming.” I looked at my phone and gasped, “Guests! My family is probably at the c

  • The Warlock's Wrath   Chapter 116

I woke up this morning, stretching and enjoying the sunlight streaming into our room. We have been moved into our wing of the castle for almost a full week and I have been thoroughly enjoying being able to cook for my mate. Once in a while we invite his parents over for dinner, just to see how they like being out of the castle and to consult with them on small issues. I got out of bed and headed to our kitchen to grab a cup of coffee. I moved to the chaise lounge by the window and sat there, looking outside, while I drank my coffee to wake up for a bit. As I sat there, I had to think about everything that needed to be done today. It’s the day before our coronation, so my family will be here today. I’m so excited to see them. As busy as I have been, I still miss them. I finish my first cup of coffee and sigh as I get out of my chair. I went to the kitchen and started making the biscuits for breakfast. As soon as they were cut out, I started making the sausage and bacon. When the sausa
