When they landed, I noticed that their hands were all forced to stay straight at their sides. The man in front was a tall, slim, man with long brown hair and brown eyes. I noticed that his eyes looked sunken in and his complexion pale. The men behind him looked like death warmed over. It has been a week since Yahir was captured. King Quincy had sentenced him to death after one week of taking fifty whip lashes daily. I woke up this morning, stretching and enjoying the sunlight streaming into our room. We have been moved into our wing of the castle for almost a full week and I have been thoroughly enjoying being able to cook for my mate. Once in a while we invite his parents over for dinner, just to see how they like being out of the castle and to consult with them on small issues. I woke up the next morning with my first thought being, “Holy shit!
