Chapter 64: Jared Officially Confesses to Julia

With her squinted dark eyes, she graced her way down the stairs.

"Come on," Julia uttered, offering her hand when she came to Shiloh's side. "Hold my hand. I'll help you stand up again."

When Julia said those things, she saw Jared walking in her direction.

"I'm here."

Upon hearing his brother's voice and seeing his darkened face, he instinctively thought that his brother was jealous of the interaction between the woman and him.

But of course, that was no time to think about such things. Julia just said that he could stand up, and he was nervous about it.

Deep inside, he was hoping that a miracle would happen, but at the same time, he was scared of disappointment.
