Chapter 40 The Cold Voice

Listening to the cold voice on the phone, Shiloh could almost imagine the expression on his brother's face at that moment – dark and filled with anger. The idea of his brother being furious made Shiloh nervous and anxious.

Could it be possible? Does his brother really have feelings for Julia?

After careful consideration, Shiloh noticed subtle changes in his brother's behavior towards Julia lately. For instance, there were issues of cleanliness. Jared had always been averse to being touched by women, but Julia seemed to be an exception. She acted casually and touched everything around her, even things she shouldn't have.

Shiloh recalled when Julia picked up a dish for him, and his brother was visibly disgusted. However, Jared still ate the dish from her to avoid wasting food.
