"No!" I heard him yell loudly.

"Please, let him just check up on her, it's raining for God sake!" My mother pleaded but Dad was adamant.

I stood behind the wall hidden from their view as they argued in the living room loudly.

"I don't care if it rains or snows, I'm not letting him into my house." Dad yelled angrily.

"Why won't you let him inside?" Mom yelled back.

"He's our son, isn't he?" She said crying and yelling at the same time.

"That good for nothing might be your son but he's not mine." Dad yelled in response.

"I've disowned him since the day he embezzled my funds and ran away like a coward that he is." Dad yelled in anger.

"What kind of man are you?" Mom sobbed loudly.

"A man that keeps his household."

"Your two children are failures, one is a thief and the other one is staying locked up in her room because of a man that barely cares about her"
