Peace Is Short

Both Merri and I tried to ignore their presence which was actually quite disturbing in my field of view. My eyes can't help but glance at them while I'm working. Every time I looked up, I had to shift my gaze to another area.

Merri too. She looked awkward trying to turn her gaze somewhere else so that those who were hiding behind the leaves on the trees didn't notice that we had noticed their presence. This is an awkward situation.

How could they even think of hiding up there? Maybe they thought we were just two weak women who've been haha-hihi playing with a baby, who wouldn't even notice they were there. So that they could easily hide without much effort.

Maybe if it was the old us, who couldn't use magic yet, their disguise wouldn't have been exposed. But now we are wizards who can sense magic particles around to sense the aura of other beings' existence. Especially with the many 'action' scenes that we have gone through, making our sensitivity sharper.
