A dense turquoise-blue liquid gushed out from the body of the monster that had just lost its head. Not long after, the rest of the monster's body was torn apart by Dylan's sword. Not just one or two monsters, but five monsters at once that had swarmed Dylan's group, had lost their heads in no time.

Even though their bodies were separated, there were still some parts of the monster's identity that remained from the uniforms that clung to their scaly skin.

"Ugh. I'm sorry. Really." A soldier mumbled sadly while burning pieces of the monster's body.

Another soldier who was nearby also whispered an apology as he threw the monster's body pieces into the fire. Repeatedly. They must have realized that the monsters they had just wiped out were fellow soldiers who died fighting monsters in this area.

And when one looks at the shape of the changes that appeared on the monsters, it seems that they have just evolved into the first phase monsters.
