An All Out War (8)

As I buried my face in my hands, I seriously pondered how I should now get through this situation. If I just think it over, the answer would come out eventually. Yeah, maybe.

“What should I do now?”

I finally remove my hands from my face and looked up. There were Dylan and Pasha's sleeping faces in front of me. Both seemed peaceful with calm and rhythmic breathing, while I was still wide awake.

Maybe it's because I've been unconscious for a while, so I still have energy stored even though it's not much. But it's a little sad because I was left alone. Even Tuyul and Mbayul seemed to be sleeping next to Merri's head.

I watched Merri sleeping. This time her sleep seemed more comfortable without the painful groans that escaped her mouth from time to time. Her forehead was no longer frowning wryly. Her breathing was no longer rushed or so slowed. Her hands were no longer clenched. Her face also started to turn pink alive again.

'Thank you.'
