Noah couldn't help but freeze, the boy that half an hour ago was said to be dying was hovering over him and had a look of hunger on his face, the way he was looking at him made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. It was painful since Alexander's lips were pulling at the edges of his bite wound, he tried pushing him off but no matter how hard he tried, the body above his wouldn't budge, he felt his limbs weakening and his hands fell to his sides as they lost all their strength.

He headed back the way he came until he reached the main hall again and entered the kitchen, planning to make some food to leave for his Noah in case he woke up from his fever while he was out.
