The decision-making meeting for the Carol Industries was being held today.
Dressed up in a moss green silk blouse with a tie in front and a pencil skirt with high heels, I was ready to take everyone on.
Today was the day the vote for the next CEO of Carol Industries would be cast and although quite a few members of my pack had sworn allegiance to me, it still could go in the favour of either Ruby or me.
"Are you sure about doing this alone?" Asher asked as he parked the car in the underground parking lot and faced me with deep concerns lining his ruggedly handsome face.
"Yes! I will meet you after. This is my fight." I leaned in and pecked his lips, his hand slithered to my head and he prolonged our kiss.
"Call me if they give you a tough time. I am always here for you," Asher reassured me again, and I smiled at his concerns before exiting the car. This man was turning out to be everything I had dreamt about.
