Chapter 70 Noah's Regrets

Noah's eyes had slightly opened as his head had tilted my way and he called me out. The pain was etched on every part of his face.

"You saved my life," he slowly spoke, guilt coating his words. I kept a straight face so he wouldn't think I did it because I had some feelings for him.

"I still need you. Why do you think that it was my father who killed your parents and annihilated your pack? Can you remember the day it happened?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.

Pain flashed across his face and his eyes turned teary as he seemed to reminisce about that painful memory.

"I am not lying, Anna; I saw your father killing my parents with my own eyes. It was the 15th of March, and the day was Sunday afternoon." He was adamant on this belief.

I clearly remembered the last Sunday I spent with my father before Noah joined us. We had gone to the amusement park and enjoyed rides and later we went for dinner in a restaurant. We had returned home very late that day and there was no way
