Chapter 40 The Black Van

The excruciating pain in my shoulder was spreading through my whole body now. I was afraid to drift into unconsciousness. Not having my wolf came with a disadvantage, I couldn't see in the dark and comprehend where my attacker was taking me.

The thought of Oliver's safety drifted through my mind and I could only hope in this situation that he was safe and had made it to Asher.

My feet finally touched the ground as he lowered me. I was still disoriented and had no clue where I was. Needing to rely on my other senses I tried to focus and felt him move to my left, towards my injured shoulder.

Agonising pain ripped through me as I tried to move my arm and launch an attack on my attacker. My movements were way slower because of the injury and he received ample time to dodge, moving to my front.
