TC adjusted the rearview mirror taking a peek at Mrs. Carter. She was as beautiful as she was feisty. He couldn't decide if he liked or disliked that about her. On the one hand, she didn't look like someone he could manipulate to do his bidding which was good because it meant that she couldn't be compromised. But in his line of work, he needed greedy people. People who would do anything to get what they wanted.

He was good at finding people's weaknesses and using them against them. That was the reason he was known as the best in the field. From the moment he'd seen her, TC had known exactly what kind of woman Mrs. Carter was. It was hard not to admire her especially when she was such a beauty and he couldn't help wondering why she wasn't on good terms with her husband.
