Debra's Pov
"Why are you giving so much importance to human activities? You know you can't stay there forever. See, I don't wanna disrespect your job but that's not where you belong. You belong here, Gemma. ". Dad added as I used to give him the same reason whenever he asked me to come back to Blackwood.
Oh no, Dad didn't appear to be convinced with my reason. Probably, it was because of my regular dialogues.
" I know Dad but I can't ignore my duties too. It's not easy to survive here and I need money desperately. I am your daughter Dad, I can't rely on Karien forever. I need to earn for myself. Also, I am thankful to him for providing me with a job." I said striking another lie again.
I don't think he would buy my story this time. I crossed my finger and closed my eyes till he responded to me.

Chapter 92Karien's PovI hastily opened my eyes, waking up from the dream or should I say it was a nightmare. What kind of dream was it?Grabbing the glass of water from the side of my bed I took a sip of it and gulped it down in uneasiness. I felt a heavy pressure on my heart and my mind too.
