Karien’s Pov

Debra has the burden to protect me while I could defend myself from werewolves. She had been overreacting right after she knew werewolves' existence around the new home.

I wished I could tell her the truth and say her not to worry much. I could feel how hard it was for her when she was stressing out in the cold breeze. She was saying to do this and do that for the whole day but she gave rest to her lips as well as her brain while she faced the cold air outside from the window.

Peeking at her time and again I was making sure she was enjoying the view outside and letting her stress gone for a few hours. Stupid girl, she fell asleep in the same position as she was before. In that way, she was going to hit some tree or pole.

I pulled her back to her seat gently with my left hand, and brushed her hair to the back, locking the window glass. I smirked as sh
